CHAPTER 58

I sighed as I lay down on my new bed. Mom and I just moved in our new house and I am dead tired. My eyes were about to close when I heard a knock on my door.

"Natalia." Lalo akong nagising nang narinig ko ang pagtawag sakin ni Nathaniel.

Impit na napaungol ako. I feel so tired that I am not in the mood to entertain anybody at the moment. He volunteered to help at nahiya naman akong tanggihan sya. Dalawang linggo ko na rin kasi itong halos hindi nakakausap ng maayos. Marcus had always been around me since the day he made sure that he'd have me again. Of course he is the mafia boss and I was so sure that he have his ways pero hindi ko naman ineexpect na babakuran nya ako bente kwatro oras.

I lazily got up from my bed. I greeted him with a lazy smile. "Hey, akala ko nakaalis ka na." Not to be rude but I wish he would get that I am too tired to entertain guests.

"Uhh. Oo, bumalik lang ako." He said. Napataas naman ang kilay ko. "Gusto sana kitang yayain magmeryenda, kung okay lang sayo?" Nahihiyang tanong nya sabay abot sa batok nya.

I sighed. Makakahindi ba naman ako sa isang taong tumulong sakin ngayon at nagabala pang bumalik dito para yayain akong magmeryenda? I am sure na parehas lang kaming pagod but then, heto sya, concerned pa sakin.

Tumango ako ng tipid. "Sige, magbibihis lang ako."

Nathaniel took me to the closest restaurant. Sabi nya saglit lang daw kami para makapagpahinga ako and I agreed. Naiwan pa si mama sa bahay, hindi pa masyadong maayos ang kusina and I am worried na baka sya magisa ang magayos noon at mapagod sya ng sobra. I had a hard time explaining to her last week why I want to live separately from the LeFevre. Sabi ko na lamang na kaya naman na namin and that pumapayag naman ako sa mga bantay na body guards. Kagaya ngayon, may dalawa kaming kasama na body guards. Nathaniel asked me kung para saan iyon but then nang hindi ako sumagot, sinabi lamang nya na gets na nya.
