CHAPTER 69

His house was suddenly filled with the mafia's men. Bantay sarado ang lahat. I screamed as soon as I read the note, naalerto agad si Marcus at ayan, punong puno ng armadong lalaki ang mansyon. They were all investigating. Habang ako, si Daniel, si mama ko at si Isabela ay nasa living room. Daniel was quiet. Isabela was shaking. Me and my mom seemed calm but we're scared deep inside.

Marcus were talking to Felix when Theo and two other mafia men with someone dressed like an employee here in the mansion walked after him.

"We got the man." Theo said. Naagaw naman nito agad ang atensyon ng lahat. Napatayo pa si Isabela. I just held her hand to stop her from questioning. She doesn't know anything about he mafia yet, I see. Theo should tell her kung balak nyang gawin itong parte ng mundo nya.

Lumapit si Marcus at Felix sa lalaking tinutukoy nila. "Where is the bitch?" He asked. Hindi sumagot ang lalaki, ngumisi lamang ito sakanya. "I asked you, where is the fucking bitch?!" Galit nitong sigaw sa lalaki. He was scary. He was mad.

"Let me handle this, ako na ang bahala sakanya." Theo volunteered. Madilim ang titig ni Marcus sa lalaki bago ito sumagot kay Theo.

"Alright. Kapag ayaw nyang magsalita, gawin mo ang lahat. I don't care if you'll get his family killed." My merciless boyfriend said.

I was so against the idea of having to kill innocent people. I need to talk to Marcus about that. I've known how the mafia works for so long but I just can't deal with the killing part. I sighed as we watched Theo leave. Isabela wanted to go too but I stopped her. Whatever Isa's role with Theo, it won't matter if Theo's in the mafia mode.

"Dito ka lang." I told her.

She sat back beside me. "Natalia, ano ba talaga ang nangyayari?" Litong lito nitong tanong.

Tinignan ko sya ng mabuti. "Mas mabuti kung si Theo ang magsasabi sayo."

Wala itong nagawa kundi ang maupo na lang din at maghintay. She was eager to discover everything. Theo will surely tell her. Pero ang tanong, kakayanin kaya nya? Kung titignan mo sya, sya yung tipong hindi makabasag pinggan. She's the innocent type.

Hindi pa man naalis ang komosyon dahil sa pagkahuli ng taong naglagay nung box sa harapan ng office ni Marcus, muli nanaman kaming nagkagulo.

"Home sweet home." An old man proclaimed. We all turned our heads at him and we saw an old man with his pefrect posture. He was wearing his usual black suit and tie. Matikas na matikas pa rin talaga si Don Antonio. Everybody was stunned. Si Isabela naman ay hindi maipinta ang mukha. Para syang nagulat na ewan, kilala ba nya ito?

"Sir." Marcus and Felix called. Nilapitan nila ang kanilang ama.

"Ah, my sons. Nasan ang gitna?" He asked.

"I am here, sir." Theo said as he entered the house.

"Hindi nyo naman ako nabalitaan na reunion pala ang meron dito." Don Antonio joked when he noticed that mafia men are scattered around. "What is happening, Marcus?" He asked.

"We could discuss that whenever you wish, sir." He answered.

"Of course, how rude of me. Maya maya na natin pag-usapan yan." Don Antonio said and then he looked at us and acted like he was surprised. Of course he knows everything. Kahit ang mga nangyayari ngayon. I raised my brows at him. The same old Don Antonio. "Dahil kailangan ko pang kamustahin ang magagandang binibini na naparito." Aniya habang naglalakad patungo sa amin.
