You and Hongjoong have had a great relationship ever since that day at the corner store. You exchanged numbers and have been texting and calling each other back and forth, it was everything you could've wished for.
There were times when he couldn't hang out with you but he was sure to make it up to you. It was strange behind his 'bad boy' exterior he was a kind-hearted soul who in your opinion just wanted to feel what everyone else did, Love.
It was a late night and you were on your way back home from work. It was a warm windy night the best kind of weather. You took your time getting home because you were in no rush because you knew that as soon as you went to sleep you would wake up to the same routine.
You sped up your pace as you realized you were walking through the bad side of town. There were a couple guys standing outside of a convenience store but they didn't bother you to your surprise. It made you somewhat at ease. That was until you heard a scream come from an ally way.
Have you ever heard the saying "curiosity killed the cat", no well I'm pretty sure they meant me? I know it was stupid but I couldn't help but want to see what was happening before I knew it I was standing in front of the ally watching... What I saw will forever haunt me.
My innocence was gone but I still couldn't help but just........ stand there I don't know why but it seemed as if my feet were glued in place.
But what I saw right after made my stomach churn and do flips. "Yunnie? Hongjoong? Why did you do that? What did they do to you?.....why?" You fought back tears from streaming down your face, but you just couldn't help it one single lonely tear escaped your eyes and soon a whole waterfall soon fell, but you just couldn't help but feel broken.
At the exact moment your feet weren't glued to the floor anymore but as soon as you were about to take off running someone grabbed your wrist. You followed the trail from your wrist all the way up to who the hand belonged to. Hongjoong.
"Y/n please listen to me it's not what you think!"
"WHAT IS IT THEN HONGJOONG WHAT REASON IS THERE FOR YOU TO KILL SOMEONE EXPLAIN THAT TO ME." You were so angry but you still couldn't hold back the voice cracks from the tears you had previously shed.
"Noona please just listen to me it really isn't what you think."
"What is it then Yunnie I really want to know, if there is possibly a way that you can explain what just happened and make it make sense to me please go ahead." He could tell you were broken I mean why wouldn't you be the same day your innocence was stripped away you found out your brother was a murderer.
"Y/n please." Sadness. That's all you felt.
"Hongjoong did I even mean anything to you at all?" He looked up at you his eyes full of pure guilt and sadness.
"Y/n I feel the world for you, I might even love you. Please just give me a chance to explain this."

"I'm not lying, just please listen to me let me explain everything to you just...... please." That smile, gone. His radiant glow, gone. All that was there was stillness, gloominess, emptiness, broken hearts.
I couldn't stand the atmosphere anymore I couldn't look at either of them without feeling my heart crack, spilling black ooze into the river of my soul.
