i nervously try to hide jimins present inside my jacket. it's not easy.
'how do i give it to him?'
'should i just be like, here take it as a sorry?'
'no no no, that sounds really stupid.'
i desperately try to come up with something while i hide the bag from my parents so they won't notice it's packaging.
'i don't even know if he's at home.'
'let's just hope for the best.'
i walk into the living room as i've managed to get the gift inside my jacket.
jungkook: "i'll go to taehyungs place."
'just one lie.'
dad: "be home before 9." i immediately nod.
jungkook: "no doubt, i will." i then walk back and begin taking on my shoes.
it's christmas eve and my parents said that it was okay if i weren't at home the whole day today. it's today i'll be giving the ring to jimin, and say sorry. not just over message.
i don't think i've ever been more scared.

all these thoughts keep coming as i'm on my way towards jimin.

i press on the door bell and it feels like my heart is all the way up in my throat and my breathing is a mess.
i took nice clothes on today. a white button up shirt stuffed down in a pair of pants with a belt. i don't usually wear these kinds on shirts, but it's okay today.
it takes some time before the door finally opens and jimins mom shows up.
jungkook: "hello." i bow just as i see her.
ms. park: "what are you doing here, jungkook?" she asks smiling sweetly.
