I sat on the couch leaning against George. He was like my best friend. He's legs were either side of me and I had my head against his chest. His fingers trailed down my arms. He started talking about his day, and stuff he was going to do with the band over the next few months. I closed my eyes and let out a sigh of comfort. I could listen to George all day.

He must have assumed I was asleep because he started talking softer. He kept talking about things he was interested in. Then he started getting deeper.

"I don't know how I'm ever going to follow through with this." He said softly, his fingers still going down my arms. "I like this girl." My heart dropped. I expected him to tell me about the girl from the diner who always flirted with him because he's a Beatle. "I've known her since I was 12. And she's the nicest person I've ever met." I kept my eyes closed. My heart was pounding. I was surprised that he didn't notice. "I'm in love." Here we go, this is where he tells me her name. "And it's you (Y/N)." His voice shook.

I felt a splash on my forehead. I heard a faint cry. And George's body started shaking. I woke up and sat up. George turned away from me quickly. "George what's wrong." I asked him.

"Nothing" He said wiping his eyes.

"George." I said seriously. "Look at me." He turned towards me. "Have you been crying?"

He sniffed. "No."

I wiped his eye with my thumb. "Yes you have. What's wrong?" I asked him. "You can tell me anything."

"It's nothing." He mumbled.

"George look at me." I told him sternly. He looked at me. "I like you a lot." I told him.

"Really?" I nodded. He leaned forward and pressed his lips gently against mine.

I smiled. "That was perfect."

"It was wasn't it." He grinned.
