I can picture Ringo full on frolicking in the snow yelling this 😂

It feels like yesterday was July, and now it's December. Christmas time, yet Christmas is what feels like years away. Growing old doesn't make Christmas come sooner. And I say growing old but I'm not that old. Just, older than 10. Ringo had taken me to a cabin that his parents own. They're letting us borrow it for a while. I hadn't really dealt with snow since the Help movie, which was a few years ago now.

The powder on the ground was perfect for everything fun that comes with the snow. But, alas I didn't feel like venturing outside. I was wearing shorts and sitting beside the fireplace with a blanket. Because why wear pants when you can use a cozy blanket?

I was in a bundle, drinking tea and reading a book Cynthia Lennon had suggested for me to read. The book was quite interesting but me being busy, I hadn't gotten to read it until now. This cabin seemed like a good time to blast through a book. Hell, I was already on chapter 6.

My attention was pulled from the false reality of the book as I heard fast, heavy footsteps. It was Ringo, running to the window. "It's SnOwInG!!" God I'm married to a child. I'm pretty childish so who am I to talk.

The window was out of my view, so I set my book down and sighed, rising to my feet. My blanket still wrapped around my shoulders. I walked over to Ringo to look outside, and to my surprise, there was the snow. Fluttering down. (I've never seen snow fall, so I'm notsure if I'm being accurate. I'm also basing this off the two times I've ever seen snow...) Ringo didn't even hesitate. He grabbed my hand and pulled, no, dragged me outside. I was tripping over my own feet trying to keep the same speed.

"Calm down." I laughed as he struggled to unlock and open the door. His had still firmly wrapped around my wrist.

"Y/n, I don't think you heard me when I said that it's snOWING!"

"I assure you Rings, I heard you loud and clear." I heard the lock click open as Ringo finally opened it, and he flung open the door. The snow coming at a faster rate. Nonetheless, Ringo yanked me outside. Letting go last second so I feel into the cold snow. It was soft, but still, I'm not quite dressed for this weather. My blanket had fallen and was laying in the snow.

I shot out of the y/n shaped hole in the snow and grabbed my blanket, shivering. Ringo just sat back and laughed so hard he was holding his sides. "You're asking for it." I charged at him. Knocking him down into the snow. He stopped laughing, his grin turned into an evil smirk. My eyes widened as he jumped up, coming after me. I ran. I ran the way you do in water, knees up high enough so my feet could go over the relatively deep snow.

I kept this up, running from Ringo who was having difficulty running through the snow. "Gotta lift your knees." I laughed before funning away from his reach. My feet were numb and my lower calfs were getting there. I had zero feeling in my toes, the weird sensation of them sinking through the snow kept getting weirder. My knees grew weak with the growing cold running up my leg. My fingers were also loosing feeling quickly. My blanket was flying up behind me, half soaked and waving like a cape as I clung to it, it was after all the source of warmth for my neck.

"Y/n Let's go back inside." Ringo called out for me.

"You're really giving up fast aren't you."

"It's cold." He complained.

"I'm going to take a wild guess and say you still have feeling in your feet."

"Y/n god, you'll catch frostbite."

"You dragged me out here dummy." I laughed. The cold was becoming more of an issue now that I wasn't moving. The cold air was burning my throat as I breathed heavily. Ringo walked over to me, carefully picking me up and bringing me back inside. "I can walk." I think, I have no idea if I can walk.

"We'll sit here." He plopped me on the couch, taking the blanket from me to go dry it. He walked back with a different blanket. He sat on the floor, where he gestured for me to come sit next to him. I grabbed a pillow and scooted my way over. Laying my head on the pillow, and situating my feet on his lap. He draped the blanket over us. The fire warming us quickly.

My eyes were slamming shut. The past hour catching up to me. The last thing I remember was Ringo's hands by my feet, keeping them as warm as he could, and smiling down at me. Before I drifted into dreams of us playing in the snow, minus the cold.

Hopefully that was good. This chapter was inspired by my cold feet. Also might I just say one of my favorite things is seeing the comments, and support. Like I never even imagined this even getting so much support. It's incredible! I hope all of you are enjoying your day or night, whatever time it is. I hope you're doing well. I love all of you!

Stay Lovely 😊
