Hey guys! I'm so sorry it took me this long to answer your questions and stuff. I've had exams--really important exams and I just had to cut off every distractions; including Wattpad😪

Its all over now though and I'm baaaaack!😂😂 so, let's head right into the questions, shall we?

PS: remember that if you haven't asked something you wish to ask, you can still comment your questions in the previous update and I'll still answer them. Also, I try to make my answers as verbose as possible, but if there's still something you want me to shed more light on, please do ask away.❤

1st Question:

*) How did you get inspired to write this book?:

Hi Fridaus, what a lovely name you've got! You're my cousin's namesake actually😁

So yeah, inspiration to write FRENEMIES actually manifested fully after a YouTube video I watched that made me bawl my eyes out😂 okay, maybe I was at a point in life at that time when I was overly sensitive and little things got to me way harder than they should, because of all the sh*t going on. But it really got to me. And, I'd been thinking about bullying before, with all the news reports of suicide and stuff, and I'd been thinking of what I could do to help. So watching that video was just the trigger that had motivated me to actually do something. And therefore, Mayowa was born😂

And just a little fun fact, if you haven't noticed, most of my books are usually partly inspired by a combination of the agony I've felt from real events.

2nd Question:

*) Do you plan on entering the Wattys?

Well, I've actually been really scared. Mostly because I'm a perfectionist and FRENEMIES doesn't seem perfect to me yet. I don't think it will ever be, no matter how much I edit it😂 and I also hate losing, which has a very high chance in this case. But my friend Beccah3392 gave me a really good lecture on giving up before I've even started--she can talk ehn😂--but I realized she was totally right and I really have nothing to lose. Besides, if the wattys don't work there's a plan B. Which you would know about if you already checked the link on my profile.

So yeah, I've entered the wattys. And now I'm awaiting my fate😂😁

3rd Question:

*) Will there be a sequel or something?

Well, there might be something😊 but I don't want to give any assurances yet because I really need to focus on my other books and also, school will get really hectic by September. So, if there's going to be a sequel, it'll be much later when I'm settled.

4th Question:

*) How are you so good as a writer?!

Lol! My sister, I'm just trying o. I'm not that good, and honestly I don't deserve half the hype you guys give me. But I thank God for everything and for you guys too. You're the best support system anyone could ever ask for. And I hope y'all continue supporting me through my writing journey❤

😂Yes o! Abeg I just finished exams, I need someone to take me out and spoil me. So when's the date? I'll text you my address and you'll come pick me up😌 in a lambo o. Don't come with one rickety car or I'll send you back o!😂😂

I don't know why, but I really don't like to say my age😌😪 smh. I'm 17 o! That annoying age😪😂😂

7th Question:

*) What genre's do you like to read and do you have more Nigerian books coming?

Um, I'm a sucker for mystery/crime/thriller's and horror novels. I love me some gore and blood and screams!😌 its crazy, but I just do--horror movies too. Although, due to the fact that I work as a reviewer, I've been subjected to reading all genre's, whether I like it or not. And, that has made me fancy some other genre's too. So if I'm not working, you can find some romance, historical fiction, paranormal and sci-fi in my library.

Yes, I definitely have more Nigerian books coming. I actually have a major Nigerian-fiction banger coming late 2020. Keep an eye out lovelies! Your libraries finna get lit!😂😌

*) Who's your biggest inspiration?:

This is a really big question and I'll just try to answer it the best way I can.

Writing wise, my biggest inspiration is Dan Brown, author of 'Angels and Demons' and many other maddd books! The way I feel while reading anything by him is just unexplainable and I just get so connected, y'know? Like, I literally can feel what he was thinking while he wrote. Yes, I'm wowed by his writing art, but then the mind behind that art is really what fascinates me and I just can't put into words what it feels like. I'd just have to open my mind for you to see yourself😂 its really crazy how attached I am to his psychotic and analytic way of thinking!

Then in general, my biggest inspiration is my mom. Simple and short. Like, growing up, a lot of kids used to say their role models were their parents and stuff but mine wasn't the case. It was either one of my cool aunt's or Nicki minaj. Lmao!!😂 I still love Nicki to death, mind you. But growing up, I've seen and realized so many things. How strong that woman is, how hard she fights everyday, how kind and affectionate she really is, despite trying to cover up with that hard Yoruba woman front🙄😂 she's just simply everything I want to be and watching her live life is enough motivation for anybody to keep going. I just think about the things she's gone through and overcame and the things she's still going through because of her kids and I want to give her the world. Because she deserves it and more.

So yeah, that's why I'm a feminist and that's why I'll always keep fighting, no matter what.

10th question:

*) How did you come up with your username?:

There's actually not really a story behind my username like some other authors have. My previous one had been really stupid--I don't even remember. And I wanted something "official sounding" but that still won't be my full name. So I decided to use a customized version of my name and my birth date. Yeah, I'm March 24th. So, Harleeyah24 was born. Ding!😂😂
