Chapter 11: Pearl's face to face

Heidi's POV

"It is good to see you back in Auradon Heidi, everyone was worried about you." Pearl says as I further into the living room, "What do you want Pearl, because last time you and I talked things didn't go to well." I say inclining my head towards her stomach as he gently places her hands on it, "You remember that?" I nod my head running my hand through my hair, "Of course I remember it, it is hard to forget news that like." Pearl stands up but I put my hand up telling her not to come any closer to me, "You said a lot of stuff that day, and I want to know if you meant everything you said?" I sigh as I replay that night in my head. After remembering everything that was done and said that night I look at Pearl and nod my head, "I meant every word I said that night." Pearl looks at me with terror in her eyes as the well up with tears, "You meant it when you said that you didn't care about me, this baby, and Harry? Or how about when you slapped me across my face and told me that the next time you saw me it would be the end of me?"

 I look at Pearl with a confused face but after a few seconds I manage to figure everything out, "Pearl most of that was Hayden pretending to me, and Hayden has her own ways of dealing with stuff." Pearl just sighs and I can see that she is trying to understand the difference between her encounters with me and her encounters with Hayden. "I guess I can't be just angry with you because you weren't the only one." Pearl places her hand on my shoulder, "Harry cheated on you with someone other than me?" I push myself away from her not wanting to open up these fresh wounds right now, "Look Harry as far as I know Harry doesn't know about your baby, but if he decides to come back to Auradon I think that you should be the one to tell him and not me." Pearl looks at me in shock,

"You are going to let Harry be a part of this kid's life?" I want to scream and yell right now as I feel the tips of hair start to flame up but I choose to not act like Hayden would and instead I take the high road, "I would never keep Harry from his child or the child from his father, I know from personal experience what is like to grow up like that, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone." Pearl wipes the tears from her eyes, "The child isn't is blameless, it is the father and mother that should be blamed." Pearl eyes go wide as she notices my mood is starting to shift, "I may not remember everything that Hayden said or did to you after I found out about Harry and you, but I am sure that you got exactly what was coming to you, and no offense Pearl but you are the last person that I really want to see right now." I start walking out of the room when Pearl's voice once again stops me, "Either you or Hayden ruined my relationship with Herkie." I turn back around laughing as I see that Pearl's mood as also changed,

"Herkie knows the truth?" I ask and Pearl walks up to me getting into my face, "Herkie said that he said that you needed to talk to him about me and then you told him I was pregnant." I smile because it must have been Hayden who told Herkie but I can't say that I am sorry because I'm not, "Hayden must have confronted him."Pearl rolls her eyes and sighs, "I am assuming that it was also Hayden that told Herkie that Harry might be the father?" I nod my head crossing my arms over my chest, "I have to say that I am a little surprised that you are reacting like this given how similar Hayden and you are." Pearl looks at me unsure of what to say but before she opens her mouth I cut her off, "Maybe I should take a page of your and Hayden's book and change my whole outlook on life and not worry about getting dragged down with a thing called a conscience."

Pearl snarls angry, "YOU KNOW WHAT JUST SHUT UP HEIDI! SHUT YOUR MOUTH!" Pearl screams at me as I start laughing at her, "You choose to let Hayden out and you are the one that let her wreak havoc on the people you love, I am done apologizing for what happened between Harry and me, and I am done feeling sorry for you because you got exactly what you deserved." I look at Pearl not impressed with what I am guessing would be her standing up for herself, but she picked a fight with the wrong woman. "You really think that I meant for Hayden to come out and destroy everything that I worked for hard for?" Pearl nods her head with a pissed off look in her eyes, 

"It would seem that way, hand it over to Hayden and just walk away until you feel like coming back." I am getting sick on this attitude from Pearl and I am very close to going Isle of the lost on her if she doesn't get out my face, "Your saying that Hayden is your reason to act like a slut?" I say with gritted teeth. Pearl slaps me across face hard enough to make me stumble back a little bit. "Seem to work for you." I regain my composer before slapping Pearl as hard as I can which knocks her to the floor. Before anything else can happen, Carlos grabs me by my waist and places me behind him while Jay helps Pearl to her feet, "What is going on?" Carlos asks as looks from me to Pearl, "Just settling something that I long overdue." I say glaring at Pearl before I walk out the living room and out the front door.

Once I step outside a large bolt of lightning hits the ground then red smoke appears, and out of the red smoke walks my doppelganger herself Hayden along with Morris
