Just a Sliver of Hope

Ink's POV :

I was sitting in my cell. When I herd someone come towards me.

I quickly looked over.

A girl.

I backed away quickly.

"Hey. It's fine I won't hurt you."

I still looked at her skeptically.

"A friend if mine you might know, has told me about you. She said you helped her in her dark time/her first day there."

I looked at her. Still confused. But came closer.

"Sora. Do you recognize the name? She said when she was their for the first time, you came and told her, their can't be flowers without rain."

Suddenly, I remembered.

Errors P.O.V :

I was sitting alone like always. No one was allowed to see me.

Or so I thought.

Because, sooner or later, I heard footsteps coming near me.

I stood up quickly.

It was a girl.

"Hello." She spoke. Her voice soft.

"Are you Error? God of destruction? " She asked

" You got it kid" I answered

"My friend has been talking about you a lot! She said you really helped her." She exclaimed

" I'm sorry girl, but I think you got the wrong person. Hello. God of destruction. Why would I help someone?" I questioned

" Because it's more family then enemy down there, as I've been told." She replied.

"Well I don't know what you've been told, but your wro-"

"No matter how useless you think you are, you are always someone's reason to smile. "
She said simply

"..." I paused. Realising what this girl just said.

"Ringing a bell?"

"Where did you hear that?"I asked.

" My friend. Who you helped. Her first day in hell. You came up to her, and comfort her." She spoke.

"I-I remember. " I said surprised

"You do?"

"Yes"

"Kaiden! You remember her?" She said hopeful

"Well, I wasn't sure the name. But I remember that moment."I reassured

The girl smiled in joy.

For once,

ever since I was stuck here,

I felt, what is it?

Maybe, just a sliver of, hope.
