Hey rusher, I just wanted to thank you for the 2k views. This was my very first story and I was afraid that none of you would like it or read it. I wanted to thank you for that and I bet you guys are reading the sequel "How We Fell In Love" I posted an authors note because something happened in my home town, a few days ago but something happened in my hometown Ottawa on Wednesday. If any of you guys have been watching the news or listening to it, a soldier was killed in downtown Ottawa. He was just guarding the unknown soldier's tomb at the national war monument. (it's in my city and it's located downtown Ottawa, near the parliament building. if you guy don't know what it is you can google it and read about it.) So what happened was, the soldier was Cpl Nathan Cirillo, he was only 24 years old and he had a 5 year son. The shooter then ran to the parliament buildings and he then took a car and drove to the centre block and he began shooting his gun. My whole country (Canada) is still in shock from what happened and the people in my city are still mourning about Cpl Nathan Cirillo.
