Chapter 20 - Surprise part 3

I moved close to the mic and a feeling came over my body, the music and my ego took over. 

"First you get the money~"

I glanced at Alex and smirked.

"Then you get the power~"

I looked at tom and winked at him.

"Respect, Hoes come last~"

I bit my lip and stepped back as Kylee and the boys started singing the backup vocals, I looked at the other band and flipped them off, I put my guitar down and removed my shirt, replacing it with my leather jacket, I heard a few catcalls and Alex screaming at me, I stepped back to the mic and started singing Kream by Iggy Azalea, I messed up my hair even more and allowed my voice to carry everything, I started dancing around on the spot when tyler filled in the other lyrics. We managed to finish the song and i looked at Repulse and blew them a kiss a few of them going bright red, they huddled into a little circle but I didn't waste time, I looked at kylee and nodded, she pushed play and Cannibal by Ke$ha, I removed the mic from the stand and walked right to the front of the stage and sat on the edge I sung out the lyrics and looked at Tom and smiled, I jumped off the stage and walked to him, just as the Pre-chorus hit, I walked up to him just before I was about to sing the chorus and grabbed the collar of his shirt pulling him close to me, I saw him glance at my lips then back to my gaze, I gave him a quick kiss then was picked up by the crowd and carried back to the stage, I stood upon the stage and i belted out breakdown to the song, falling to my knees as the chorus picked up again. the song came to a quick stop when they started playing Wrong by MAX since I liked that song I let them play, I walked over to their stage and walked right up to the lead singer and placed a hand on his forearm winking and did a thumbs up to my band when they finished the song, F*** U betta, Neon Hitch started playing and I sung the lyrics, I slid my hand under his shirt and walked away placing the mic back on the stand and looked Tom directly in the eyes and sung. 

"She's prettier than I'll ever be.

I saw him looked down and go bright red. I inhaled and looked back at the crowd.

"I know she's perfect and worth it
I bet she's beautiful
But can she love you and touch you until you go
You keep on tryin' to hide it
But we both know, ow"

The night was coming to an end and my throat hurt from singing. 

"THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR COMING, HERES THE MOMENT YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR, AND THE WINNERS ARE..."

I rolled my eyes, god he was dramatic

"CAPTIVITY! FOR THE SURPRISE SINGING FROM GRIM RILEY!"

I burst out into laughter and tried catching my breath, I was about to walk off when I felt my arm being caught, I looked at Ash and rolled my eyes.

"What?"

"So we've been requested from the judges for you to sing, by yourself one song ok? acoustic if possible?"

"Eh sure wheres the harm in that"

He let go of my arm and i walked over to the piano that had been set up for me, I sat down and thought of a song, then one came to my mind, a song came to my head one that Alex used to sing with me when we had our sleepovers, and a song that I wanted someone to here I placed my hand on the keys and sung the first sentence, 

"I miss you, pushing me close to the edge"

I continued playing Ruin my Life by Zara Larsson but piano version. The sun started setting which only made me perform more, I inhaled a deep breath and sung at the top of my lungs. the night ended and I was collecting my things, I was greeted by my family, they congratulated me and i walked into Tom, he had a huge smile on his face and his arms wrapped around me and i was pulled into a hug. 

"Didn't know you were musical Grim"

"There's a lot of things you don't know about me Thomas"

"That is very true"

I smiled at him and messed up his hair. He placed a gentle kiss on my head and i heard someone fangirling, I looked and I saw my band and my family holding back 12-year-old screams. 

"Ugh, Kylee, Alex hurry up and get in the car"

I watched as they giggled and ran off, I placed a quick kiss on his cheek and walked away, his hand grabbed my wrist and i looked at him.

"Yes, Thomas?"

"Where are you going?"

"I'm dropping Kylee at her Dad's and Alex and i will be home soon"

He looked sceptical but he let go, I walked over to my car and got in it, I looked at the girls and laughed. 

"What? we haven't even left the stadium yet and you're already going to bombard me with questions?"
