Can't Run From You

Chapter 29

As we stood there in the middle of the trainer's room Eli still seemed weird. My arms were still wrapped around her. Her body was still wet and cold, but I didn't care. I wanted to hold onto her as long as I could. Eli pulled away from me and walked to the table where our clothes were. I walked over to her and pulled her into me. I gently touched her cheek with my hand.

"Do you want to talk about it?" I asked

"No." Her eyes were dark. I don't know what was going through her head and I hated it. I felt like Eli knew everything about me. And she could always make me feel better yet I didn't even know why she was so upset. Eli wasn't one to take offense very easily. She'd been putting up with Lila since she got here and I'd never seen her get this way. I mean there was that one time at the meet when she almost got into a fight but she was upset about things with me not with Lila.

I wrapped my arms around Eli again and just held on. She didn't hug me back and she stood there. After a couple seconds I felt her arms wrap around my stomach. When she pulled back she seemed to be better. Not completely but better. I leaned in and kissed her lips softly. I could feel her arms wrap around my waist and pull me in closer to her. After things started to heat up just a little I pulled back and said

"Let's get out of here." She just gave me a small smile and we gathered our clothes and walked out. Eli had picked me up this morning so we were both walking to her car. When we got to Eli's Jeep we got in and started heading back to my house. The ride was quiet at first but about 5 minutes into the drive I put on a random song and Eli started to jam out. We were singing and laughing by the time we got back to my house. When we got off the jeep I looked over at Eli as she was walking towards the front door. The sun was bouncing off of her toned and tanned legs. I watched as her butt moved back and forth as she walked. When she got to the door she turned around and gave me a look like 'are you coming?'. I just smiled and followed her in. I closed the door as we walked in and we stared up the stairs. As soon as we were in my room I closed the door and leaned my back up against it. Eli was already sitting on my bed. When she looked back at me she cocked her eyebrow at me and said

"What?" as she gave me a little smirk. I walked over to her and sat on her lap. I felt her hands slide from my thighs to my butt. She gently squeezed it and I couldn't help but smile. I looked her in the eyes and I could see them starting to turn yellow around the edges. She gave me one last smirk before I placed my lips on hers. I loved the way she tasted. Her lips were soft and slightly wet. Our lips moved perfect together. After a couple seconds her kisses changed. They weren't soft anymore. They were hungry and lustful, like she couldn't get enough of me. I felt her tongue moving with mine. I was still in her lap when suddenly I wasn't. In one swift motion Eli had flipped me over so that she was on top of me with her legs on either side of my body. She leaned over and started to kiss me again. The kiss was even more aggressive than before. Her hands slid down to the hem of my shirt and I felt them slip underneath my shirt. She pulled my shirt up. I lifted my hands above my head for her to take the shirt off, as she did she pinned my hands together with one of hers and leaned down again to plant her lips on mine. I felt her hand slide down my stomach and to the hem of my shorts as she slid her fingers against my skin under the slick fabric of my spandex. As her fingers came a little lower and skimmed across my hip bones I felt my whole body react with goose bumps. She slowly lowered herself down to my breast and placed her lip on my nipple. I felt her tongue massaging my nipple, she was going to leave a mark. It felt so good that I couldn't help but run my hands through her hair. She ran her hand down to my core and started to gently massage me over my spandex. She was teasing me. Making me wait. I hated it. I tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and when she looked up at me I gently pushed her head down a little lower. Eli pulled off my spandex first, then she bit the hem of my underwear and pulled them up. Teasing me more. She then grabbed them with her hand and pulled them off. She then spread my legs and kissed her way up from my thigh to my center. I felt her tongue start to massage my clit. Every fiber in my body felt like it was being sparked. I heard her name escape from my lips as she kept licking me. I ran my fingers through her hair and kept them in her hair. As I could feel myself starting to get close I felt Eli slide two fingers into me. I could hear myself moaning her name so loud. My moaning made Eli start making noises. I could feel the vibrations coming out of her mouth and it made everything she was doing feel even so much better. I had one hand in Eli's hair and the other was gripping the bed sheets. After I finished my orgasm I felt Eli take her fingers out of me. She slowly kissed my stomach and then back up to my neck. She was going to leave another mark but I didn't care. I could feel her body weight on me and I wanted her to be even closer to me. When she came back up to face me I couldn't help but smile. She was staring at me with her golden eyes and I could help it, I leaned in and kissed her on the lips. She was still on top of me, but within seconds I flipper us over so that she was under me. I gave her a smile and started to go down on her the same way she did to me. I could already hear her hums of approval as I kissed her all the way down.

After about an hour of fooling around Eli and I were lying in bed. I was laying on Eli and we had the covers wrapped around us. Eli was playing with my hair and I loved it. I loved when she touched me, and held me, and was even just near me. I wondered if she felt the same way. As I laid there with her I kept thinking about different things. Then I started thinking about what happened today. I didn't know what was going on, or even how to fix it.

"Eli?" She was already falling asleep

"Mmm yeah?"

"Why did you get so upset earlier with Lila?" I felt her shoulder tense up just a little.

"I just don't like that word."

"Why?"

"When I first came out it wasn't easy. My mom and dad were okay with it. They took it surprisingly well actually. But I had only been at my school in Oklahoma for a couple weeks because we had just moved there. Some of the other kids didn't take it as well. I had to hear that word every day for a couple weeks before I finally met Dakota. She came out a little while after I did. She just sort of made me feel like I wasn't such a freak I guess."

"Did you love her?" I know it was a stupid question to ask but I didn't want to have a conversation about coming out. Especially because I'm not and I don't have any idea how to tell my parents.

"Yeah but that was nothing compared..." she kind of hesitated. I looked up at her. She looked me in the eyes and said

"Well that was nothing compared to this. To uh you." She looked to the side of me and wouldn't really look at me. I liked seeing this cute adorable part of Eli. She didn't show it to often but I liked when she did. It made me feel special to know I was the only one who saw it.

"I've never felt like this about anyone. Not even Will." I felt her shoulders tense again as I said his name. I propped myself up with my elbows and looked right into her hazel eyes.

"Eli I'm serious. I've never felt like this. I don't ever want to lose you. I..." I looked down

"I love you." She placed her hand right where my neck meets my jaw and made me look at her.

"I'm in love with you too." She said. I felt my ears heat up.

We had been talking for the past 30 minutes about everything. We talked about favorite foods and things to do and our funniest stories and everything in between. We were still talking when I heard the garage door start to open. Shit. My parents were home. I literally jumped out of the bed and grabbed clothes to put on and to throw at Eli. We scrambled to put them on. As soon as I finished putting my shirt on and Eli was fully clothed my door opened and in walked my dad.

"Hi girls. We're having group today instead of Thursday. Your mom wanted me to let you know. You guys should come down and join us." I just nodded and he smiled at us, then closed the door and left. I looked back at Eli who was just giving me a look.

"We're not going down there." I said

"Good." She said back. This was so complicated.
