Bike Riding

We're sitting on our bikes waiting to go. However, since I don't know how to ride them, I've been placed on the back of Kaldur's bike, and will be riding with him. I keep pulling at my clothes, however. I'm not used to wearing pants, and I feel strange without my cloak.
I had disagreed to this outfit extremely when Black Canary gave it to me, but that's not nearly as bad as having it forced on. Black Canary almost end up with even more scars than she does already. In any case, after we finish this mission, I'm burning these pants. They're way too tight, and they're showing off my "curves". At least, that's what Wally called them. When I had come out from changing, I noticed all the boys staring. I was glaring, but no one could tell because of my mask. That's the one thing I did actually threaten Canary about. If it was taken off, someone would have ended up in the hospital, or dead.
The trucks took off, and we all follow them, me hanging tightly onto Kaldur by the waist. I didn't like this. Not one bit. Robin, Kid, and Superboy went one way; Megan, Kaldur, and I went the other way. Eventually, down the road, the decoy trucks go down a different road from us, and we get closer to the real truck.
"Do you think Superboy's okay?" M'gann asks us as we're riding. "I-I wasn't reading his mind, I swear, but anger flowed off him in waves." "Well, you're right about one thing." I say. "He was angry, but I've no clue why. Just give him a little space." "Superboy just needs time to cool off. A quiet mission will clear his head." Aqualad adds in.
I hear rustling behind us and look to see these weird, flying monkeys(?) coming towards us. They fly past us, and land on the truck. Aqualad presses the comm in his helmet, "Robin, Superboy, Kid, our truck is under attack!" He tells them. 'Kind of figured.' Robin answers.
Aqualad grabs his water bearers, and starts whipping at the robotic monkeys. M'gann flies off of her motorcycle, flying over to get on the truck. I'm holding onto the seat behind me as Aqualad stands up on the bike, somehow keeping us from crashing, as he knocks the monkeys off of the truck.
The back door is melted open, and the monkeys fly out, carrying the android's parts. Kaldur stops the bike, and we stare at them. I take off my helmet, moving to get off. "I'll go after them." I say, taking off my jacket and letting my wings snap out of my back. I take off before Aqualad can stop me, but it's not like he has to. As I start catching up to the little pests, one of them turns around. It sees me, and by some luck, it shot a laser at me, hitting me in the eyes.
I fall back, blinded, and I start falling to the ground. Thank the Gods it wasn't a big fall. I get on my knees, but it hurts too much to open my eyes. Not too long after, I hear footsteps running towards me. "Dracona, are you okay?" Aqualad asks, worried. "I can't see anything, if that helps." I say. I sense him nod, standing up. He reaches for his comm, talking to Robin, "Aqualad to Robin. We've lost our cargo. Did you-" 'It's gone. And so is one of my partners.'
"It's Superboy, no doubt." I comment. I sense Aqualad give me a look. "Aqualad to Superboy. Radio your position. We'll help you." He says to him. 'I don't need help, don't want any!' He yells. "Superboy?" Aqualad asks. 'I think he ditched his comm.' Robin remarks. 'Super. Now we can't even track him.' Wally states. "He's out of my telepathic range." Miss Martian says, flying down beside us, "And this Professor Ivo, if he is alive, seems to be two steps ahead of us."
"M-maybe w-we should contact Red Tornado?" She asks. "Tornado always tells us to handle things ourselves." Aqualad answers, leaning down and grabbing my arm gently. I tense up, not used to someone touching me, especially if it's not by Fate or Kent. Slowly, he helps me to stand up, and places his hand on my shoulder to keep me balanced. "And the mission can still succeed if we recover the parts before they're reassembled."
'Well, that's a great plan, except for the part about us not knowing where to look!' Wally yells. 'Maybe we do.' Robin contradicts. 'We'd have heard by now if the decoy trucks had been attacked. So how did these monkeys know exactly which trucks to target? Ha! The parts have GPS.' Gps? What's that? I think. 'The monkeys can track the signal, which means I can track them with the one I captured. It looks like both sets of parts are converging on... Gotham City.' Robin says, sounding worried.
