We've moved the doctor away from the school. Right now, we're down by the docks, and it has me on edge. Artemis and Wally are inside the school, while I'm outside with Kaldur, patrolling. I sense tension happening inside, and I'm pretty sure it's from Artemis and Kid. 'Stop it, both of you.' Aqualad tells them. 'What?' They ask. 'We can hear you glaring.' I tell them.

I stay just a few feet away from Aqualad as we look around our surroundings. He looks at me, and I give him a nod. He turns back around. "Miss Martian, stay in camouflage mode and make a wide perimeter sweep." He says out loud. Within seconds, this weird sticky substance comes from the tree above us, and we're pulled up into the branches. I feel hits that I can't see, and am thrown across the street, hitting a van, and landing on Kaldur.

"Zyel." I apologize as we get up. He nods to me. Someone comes leaping from the tree, landing in front of us. As we're getting up, someone comes up from behind and knocks us back down. We both grunt in pain, pretending to get knocked out. "The martian could return any second, and I'm not keen on evening their odds. We end Roquette now." The girl from earlier tells the other three. They go inside, but I sense one of them stop and look back at us before walking away.

As soon as they're gone, we both get up, and start running to where Dr. Roquette is actually located, an "internet cafe". She's fixated on the computer when we come in, locking the door. Aqualad stands next to the doors, while I stand in the back, making sure no one gets in. "I've almost got it." Roquette tells us.

There's a thump up on the ceiling, and both Aqualad and I look up. "We have company." He warns us. "Uploading now." She tells us, "And by the way, you said you'd protect me." She says, looking at him. A metal ball comes bouncing from behind me, filling the room with smoke. I turn around quickly, only to get a hit to the face. I fall back, and land on the ground, "Ugh!" I grunt.

"Let's test the limit of your jellyfish immunity, shall we?" I hear a girl's voice. It's still the girl with the white cat mask. I can hear Kaldur'ahm fighting against her, but someone steps in, and knocks him out. "There. Limit tested." The girl comments. I get up, attempting to be discreet. That plan doesn't work, however, and I end up getting tackled to the ground by Dragon Master.

"Now, Doctor. Time for my appointment." I twist around on the floor with Dragon Master, attempting to pin him to the ground, but I still hear the girl talking to Roquette. A fireball appears in my hand, and I throw it at the girl. She dodges, falling back a few feet. I snap out of it when I get a hit in the side of the head.

Dragon Master flips me off of him and stands up, he goes to move forward when the girl stops him. "Dragon Master." She turns back to Dr. Roquette, "So you finished the virus, eliminating the reason for your elimination, though not the entertainment value." She pushes Roquette back and she falls on her back. "Lucky for you, our orders are clear. You live to program another day. After all, doctor, the Shadows may find another use for you."

The two villains walk out the door, and I run to catch up to them. My anger was growing, and I didn't care. As I reached the door, an explosion caused the two to fly back, Dragon Master further than the girl. I reach out and punch him. His mask goes flying off, and I light a fireball in both hands. "Move an inch, and I fry you to a crisp." I warn him. He gets up without hesitation.

"Interesting threat, but not one that hasn't been said before." He states, turning around to face me. My eyes widen. "What are you doing here?!" I yell. "I suppose now you'll bring me with you, send me to jail. Not like it's going to help. Have your team interrogate me, maybe? I bet they don't even know what you are... I wonder what will happen once they find out." He suggests to me.

I stare at him for a minute longer before my fire dies out, and I look away, if only to hide the tears. I can practically hear him smirk. "I thought so. We'll be meeting again, Dracona. You can count on that." He says, walking away from me, fading into the shadows. As soon as he's gone, I bend down to pick his mask up. Anger builds up inside me and I punch the nearest thing to me, which is a wall to the cafe. There's now a gaping hole into the kitchen. My anger dies out quick and I walk back over to where Artemis is standing. I hear panting and turn to see Aqualad leaning on Dr. Roquette's shoulder.

"Artemis, Dracona, where are the assassins?" He asks. "They, uh- they got away." We answer him. Wally comes speeding up to us, exclaiming, "Oh, from you? Oh, big surprise. Notice we got ours." My anger flares a bit and I swat him on the back of the head. I know that he was only talking to Artemis, but it really felt like he was talking to me, too. "Hey! I didn't mean you!" He says, rubbing the back of his head while frowning at me. I ignore him and go to stand by Kaldur'ahm, who starts standing on his own weight, taking his arm back from around Roquette.

Kid looks down at the ground, and see's the girl's mask. His eyes light up. "Cool. Souvenir." He says, picking it up. Aqualad looks down at my hands to see Dragon Master's mask clutched in my rip. "Their masks?" He asks, taking out the darts in his chest. "Did you see their, their faces?" "It was dark." Artemis answers. I don't answer, looking out over the waters. "Dracona?" He questions. "T-the shadows covered his face as he ran." I say, looking back down at the mask in my hands.

"It is fine. Robin and Superboy neutralized the Fog, and Dr. Roquette is safe, thanks in no small part to you." Aqualad tells us, then turns to Artemis. "Welcome to the team." I look over at her to see that she's smiling. They come over to us, but I still don't turn to face them; instead, I face the ocean front. I don't feel like talking; not after having my heart ripped from my chest once more. After all, it's been years since I'd last seen my older brother, James.

(A.N.: The picture up top is of James, if you haven't guessed already. Pretty hot, huh?)
