Max plopped onto his bed and let out a breath. The supreme poked her head in the doorway. "How was it?" Max sat up, "Alright, I guess. Saw Aphrodite again." Delia entered the room, "Oh? How is she?" "She's nice. Very bubbly." Delia sat on the bed, "What was it exactly?" "Oh, they were just introducing me to all of Olympus. Apparently, a supreme and a respected demi-god creates a Max Karras." Cordelia chuckled, "Oh really? That's the recipe huh?" "Yeah. Everybody calls me Karras. I guess only the Greek names matter to them." "You were the first one born in New Orleans." "First one born in the mortal world."

Zoe ran into the room with a scared look on her face. Delia looked up at Zoe, "What's wrong?" "There's something outside." A sudden growl came from outside the house. Max immediately popped up out of bed, "Oh! Probably intended for me! But...I haven't even used my, oh!" "What?" Max made his way to the doorway, "He must've tracked me when they teleported me back." All three went downstairs, the growls got louder.

WHAM! A dent in the front door. "A dog?" "It's a dog of the underworld. It has three heads. Well, at least three." WHAM! The door was about to cave in. "I have to do this. Everybody stay back", Max said. A stream of blue fire shot through the door, all three hit the floor, the fire missing their heads by only an inch. Kerberos, the dog of Hades entered barking. Max extended his arm shooting fire out of his hand, burning one of the three heads to ashes. The dog tackled Max and began scratching at Max's chest. Delia pointed at the dog but before she could do anything, Max closed his eyes and a gust of wind sent the dog flying into a wall. The hell hound was unconscious. Max got up and ran over to Kerberos and put both his hands up to the dog. He unleashed a powerful stream of fire, not stopping until the entire hound was reduced to ashes.

Max fell on his back, breathing heavy. Cordelia and Zoe helped him up. "Good job." Max shook his head, "I can't be here. If I'm here, people will get hurt." Cordelia shook her head, "What? Honey..." Mel slowly entered the academy and saw the destruction, "God...that's what I was afraid of." Mel saw Max's torn shirt, "Max, are you okay?" Delia took her son's hand, "Come on, let's clean you up." He didn't move, "No...I'll take care of it later, I gotta go." "You can't just roam New Orleans by yourself", Zoe said. Mel interjected, "I'll go with him. He's right he can't be here but I'm not letting him go alone." Max shook his head, "You're not going to get hurt either." Mel took his hand, "I know about his creatures. They won't hurt me. I'm from the underworld after all." Mel tugged his arm, "Let's go." Cordelia said, "Well, what about a protection spell?" "Mom, I don't know if that'll work." "We have to try." Mel touched the supreme's arm, "It could work but we have to find a place first." Delia touched Max's face, "Okay. You two be safe. You need to tell me where you are." Max nodded.

Mel dabbed rubbing alcohol on Max's cuts. "At least we know you can defeat Kerby." Max just stared off into space in the dark room, "Yeah." Max started looking around. He was noticeably a bit paranoid. Mel kissed his cheek, "It's okay." "Something's gonna come here." Mel shook her head, "We'll be safe. We won't use powers. We'll be ready for anything." She put her head on his shoulder. Max kissed the top of her head, "I hope you're right."
