Theos and Max sat across from each other in the academy's living room. "Max, I don't know about this plan you have with Persephone." "I'm tired of waiting for him to make a move. I need to do something, make a move before he does." Theos took a breath, taking a moment to think. Karras certainly did have a point. "Max, you must remember Hades is very impulsive." "I know that." "Max, but you don't understand. No one ever told you about his death curse." "A death curse?" "Yes. No one's survived it. I worry this plan will anger him, unleash it and kill you." "But, I am the savior." Max stood up. Theos looked up at Max, "Yes! But that doesn't mean that he can't kill you." Max took a couple steps back, "This is the only plan that I have." "At least take another with you." Max walked away from the wise god. Theos put his hand to his head. He didn't mean to argue and disagree with Max. Not even he knew if the savior god was fully immortal. There was really only one way to find out and he wasn't willing to take that chance.

"Max Karras this is Poseidon." A young man with eyes the color of the ocean approached Max and shook his hand. "Pleasure. Can't believe it. Finally, the savior god." "Nice to meet you. Have you met Melinoe?" Max pointed at his love. Poseidon shook hands with her as Max and Theos went off to the side. "Not that I'm not grateful but...why Poseidon? We'll be nowhere near the sea", Max whispered. "He's a devil with a trident dear boy. He has many skills." Max walked back over to the two other deities, "So P, you alright with the underworld?" Poseidon smiled, "P? Thanks Karras! I'll have to figure out a nickname for you." "Yeah, you can start with Max in the meantime." Max chuckled. "Alright, MK. The underworld...well, I know my trident comes in handy with any magic and any sticky situation." Max nodded, "Good." Poseidon and Max begin walking about Olympus, "MK. You like that? I just came up with it on the spot." Max nodded, "Sounds about right to me, P."

Max, Mel, Persephone and Poseidon all were gathered in the living room. "Woah, you got his queen on your side MK?" Max nodded, "Yeah, long story." "Dang and Melinoe is helping too?" "Just Mel is fine." "Alright. Sorry this is just a lot to take in." "All you need to know is that this helps take down Hades. Just stick to the plan." Poseidon nodded. "Okay, me, Mel and Persephone go in together. You follow behind. You'll listen and if things get hairy, that's when you enter, P." "I can do that." "Let's go."

Max and Mel approached Hades who sat in his throne. The two deities tugged Persephone along. "Hades! Please!" He got out of his throne, "What are you doing with your paws on my queen?!" "Stay back or we will hurt her." Hades did not move forward, obeying Karras. "What is the meaning of this?!" "Your wife will not return to the underworld in the winter." "This is preposterous!" Persephone pleaded, "Just do what they say Hades!" Hades looked at Mel, some hurt in his eyes.  "Melinoe, how could you do this? To your own mother!" "She made her choice, I made mine father." Hades was fuming, "Karras! You have brainwashed my daughter!" "Enough! We'll let her go if you agree to our terms." Hades giggled, "Terms? Really Karras?" "These are the terms, so listen. You must stay in the underworld, keep your creatures here as well. You will let your daughter go wherever she pleases. You will not harm another deity, mortal or living being. You will not use your dark powers on another deity, mortal or living being." Hades was furious, "How can you trust me Karras?" "We can't. But don't worry we have the ability to take your queen, if you step out of line, take her and hurt her." The underworld king's entire body glowed with rage, he shot a massive charge of dark energy at Max. Poseidon rushed in front of Max, holding his trident out in front of him. The dark energy bounced off of his trident, and was shot right back at Hades sending him flying into a wall, knocking him out cold immediately. Persephone touched Max's shoulder, "You go ahead. I'll let you know when he wakes up. Maybe, just maybe he'll agree."

The three young deities entered the academy. "Nice job, P." "Thanks." Mel crossed her arms, thinking. "Something tells me this won't stop your father for very long." Mel nodded, "I'm afraid he won't stop until you're dead or you bring him to his knees begging for mercy." "Place your bets on which one is more likely." "Don't joke like that, Max."
