"What the hell Blake?" I yell at him when he pulls me out of the room. All of the others are staring at us, wide-eyed.

"That was Xavier that was on the phone right now. He told me that the Stevensons were involved in the Yorks' murder. That means he might know something."

"He's my childhood best friend. He was 6 when mom and dad died, he's got nothing to do with it!" I was outraged, what the hell did Blake know. Who was he to go around accusing my friends?

"Funny you should say that." He said with a smirk, then suddenly he got serious. "Ryan said the same thing about Sasha, and then she confessed."

I was shocked. "What?"

"Yeah, so apparently the Mills and the Stevensons have been working together for the last couple of years. Both of them were in on your parents' murder. Sasha was captured, questioned, but then she escaped. They're going after her right now."

"But what would any of them benefit from mom and dad dying?" I know I looked like I was just about to cry. Zach was my best friend. My parents trusted his family. I basically called his parents uncle and aunt. And I didn't like Sasha, but she wasn't evil. I just wouldn't accept it.

"The fashion industry is hyper-competitive. They needed to get rid of the competition."

I was looking at him as if he was crazy. I knew there was competition. But no one had to go as far as killing someone else to get what they wanted. It was unethical.

"We need to get out of here. I've already called Witness Protection to come and get Zach, to see what he knows. Text Talia, and get them out of there."

I was just about to ask him why it was Talia I needed to text when it dawned on me: Talia's phone was encrypted. Something her parents had done for her because of their job. So I did what Blake said.

"Tal, get out of there. Don't alarm Zach. He's a potential suspect. Meet near the car"

I didn't give her too many details, but I didn't need to. She would understand what was going on, and what needed to be done.

I followed Blake to the car, and a few minutes later, the rest of our friend group joined us.

"What the heck is going on?" Chloe whisper shouted.

Before I had a chance to answer, a group of armed men ran into the building. We just looked at them, following them with our eyes.

One of them came up to us. Well, specifically Blake.

"Agent Carson. We have apprehended the suspect." The armed man said and then walked away.

"Once again, what the hell is going on?" Chloe exclaimed.

"We'll talk in the car. We've got to go." Blake says as he leads us to the car.

Once all of us are settled in. I could feel everyone turn and look at me. They were expecting an answer, and there was nowhere for me to run. I couldn't avoid it anymore.

"Zach is now a suspect. Apparently the Stevenson Family and the Mills families are now the prime suspects in this case."

"The Mills, as in Sasha Mills?" Nava exclaimed.

"Yeah."

"No way in hell," Chloe stated.

"That's what I said. And then she confessed." I said looking away. "Anyway, according to what Xavier found the two families have been working together for the last couple of years. Both benefitted from mom and Dad were killed. The Stevensons in the fashion aspect, the Mills' with their business."
