Don and Meryl couldn't get out of the hospital fast enough. Don drove back to their estate with one hand on the steering wheel, and the other hand was reaching behind him to hold Meryl's hand who was sitting in the back seat again with the babies. They both knew that Mags was fine, but they also felt better having one of them sitting back there with the babies. Meryl had offered to drive so Don could sit back there with the babies, but they both kind of laughed knowing she was shorter than he was and she could fit in the back seat easier than he could. Though, he appreciated her offer. Don smiled as he put the car in park in the big circle drive in front of the house, and then turned in the driver's seat so he could turn towards her. "How are they doing, baby?"

"Perfect." Meryl smiled at him. "Though, I think our youngest daughter keeps taking years off my life."

"Mine too." Don agreed with a slight chuckle. "Our little daredevil."

Meryl nodded as she stroked his fingers with hers. "She is. Are we putting them in the cribs in our room tonight."

"Well, I thought we would." Don wasn't exactly following where this was going. "Baby, since they are rolling over it isn't safe for them to be in bassinets; and because of that I didn't buy any to have here."

Meryl nodded. "I know. I wanted to make love to you tonight, but I don't want to put them in the nursery..."

"I agree with you, sweetheart, as much as I want you." Don said with a kiss to her hand. "I want them where we can watch them all night. Is that what you were worried about?"

Meryl shook her head. "I was thinking about they could sleep in-between us. Where we can watch her."

"Baby, their cribs are on wheels so I can push them closer to our bed." Don pointed out to her. "I would be too terrified I would roll over on them. I guess if you want them in bed with you, I could sleep on the floor and we could put pillows all around them..."

Meryl shook her head, she didn't want that. "No, baby, I don't what that. You are right. They will be in the same room as us. You have the monitors hooked up to their cribs. We have our iPads and our phones. I'm just being..."

"The best damn mother in the world." Don said, wanting to make sure she knew that he knew where she was coming from. "I know it's scary. But, she has been just fine. They wouldn't have released her if there was any doubt about that. I know this night hasn't exactly turned out like we thought it would earlier in the evening..."

Meryl smiled at him. "That is true, but my Don Man kept his promise, and our babies are home with us. All I ever want, along with you and our brood."

"Me too, baby." Don took a deep breath as he looked towards the house, and then back at his wife. "Speaking of our brood, we should probably get in there and talk to the girls. However, I have been thinking about this, we weren't completely in the wrong."

Meryl nodded her head in agreement at what her husband said. "Of course not, we were worried parents. They should have called us, and let us decide as Mags' parents the best thing to do. However, they took that choice out of our hands, and thank God it wasn't any worse since it was her head."

"I think we've let them stew long enough." Don said making his wife laugh. "Let's grab the babies and release the others."

Meryl nodded with a kiss to his lips. "I'm right with you."

"Why are they just sitting in the car?" Louisa asked her siblings as she was looking through the bay window at the front of the house. "And why is Mom in the back with the babies?"

Mamie shook her head, afraid of what her parents found out about their baby sister. "That can't be good that Mom is sitting in the back."

"Do you think they're in a fight?" Grace asked then she saw her parents kiss in the car. "I guess not."
