"You two really don't have to stay." Meryl said to Liz and Larry after they helped Don and Meryl get settled back in the apartment while Don and Meryl were holding the babies and playing with them on the sofa. "I mean you moved things into the bedroom down here for us. Even though I still say I am fine to get the babies and Don upstairs."

Don shook his head as he gave his wife a look. "You need to be down here. You still have a very severe concussion and I can only use one arm. I mean, I guess I could carry both babies..."

"You win." Meryl winked at Don. "Really, you two have made sure we have everything we need down here for us and the babies. I am sure we have plenty of food and I can order whatever we need."

Don nodded in agreement with his wife. "I know my wife won't let me do anything I shouldn't be doing, and I won't let her do anything she shouldn't be doing. You two have spent so much time with us, and I can't tell you how much we appreciate it."

"More than we can ever tell you." Meryl nodded with tears in her eyes. "I mean coming out to Maine and..."

Liz cut Meryl off as she and Larry sat on the couch across from Don and Meryl. "We are family. We are where we want to be."

"Unless you two want some time alone." Larry jumped in. "Lizzie and I can give you space."

Before Meryl could answer, Don jumped in. "I actually have been wanting to talk to you, Larry, and seeing as though your wife just took our babies from us."

"They missed their Aunt Lizzie." Liz teased as she sat down on the floor and played with the babies. "They need some Aunt Lizzie time. I could see in their eyes how much they wanted to play with me."

Meryl couldn't help but laugh as she scooted closer to Don on his good side. "I am sure you are right."

"Please." Larry teased as he too got down on the floor and played with his godson and goddaughter. "Let her have her fix."

Meryl smirked at her husband's best friend and his wife. "I don't think she's the only one who is getting her fix."

"But we want them back." Don teased as he then got a serious look on his face. "Larry, Raymore. I want to talk about him." He then looked at Meryl. "If you're okay with it, Darl."

Meryl nodded. "You and Larry have checked with security in the building over and over. Ross and management are all over it. As well as the security code in the elevator being changed. He can't get to us."

"He sure as hell better not get away from those cops...AGAIN." Don growled as he looked at Larry. "Okay, so we know how he got away from the hospital when he tried to suffocate my wife and come after us again. He was able to get free and knock the cops out. He probably rode the train to Maine or something. BUT, I paid a lot of money for state of the art security to keep my wife and our family safe. How in the HELL did he get into our home? I mean I have the security gate. I have the alarm system in place. HOW did he get in there?"

Larry took a deep breath as Liz nodded and he went to sit on the coffee table in front of Don and Meryl. "The police in Maine looked through the security footage. He followed the girls in."

"What the hell?" Don was getting more and more upset. "I thought you were convinced our children were safe? He was following our girls?"

Meryl turned in her husband's arms as she felt him tense as well. "Was he going after them?"

"According to the video, and what they were able to get out of Raymore, it was really to get in the house." Larry explained. "It looks like he slept in the guest house. He was then waiting for the girls to leave, and then he waited long enough to sneak in behind them when they left so as not to give himself away but before the alarm rearmed. He waited until Don was alone. Supposedly, according to the statement. He wanted to shoot Don just enough, not to kill him instantly, but so he could make Meryl watch. But, you two are too smart for him."
