- this story ends on a cliffhanger. i wrote so much of this story while manic and then it blew up and i forced myself to finish. i only keep it up cause a small part of me is proud of it lol. anyways, the ending was intended to be followed up by a second book but that never happened. i do have a little note at the end with what was intended but never got written so there are some answers. either way, read at your own riskkkkkk.
- this is a 'romantic' story. my oc, cas, and rick will have a relationship. that being said, i do not write smut. i may allude to it but i will not write it. this story does also have mentions of attempted sexual assault, general toxic relationships, etc. also, since i have to make sure this is read, i'm making it bold, rick and cas are not healthy. they were never supposed to be. they are toxic to one another but they do love each other greatly. THEY. ARE. NOT. AN. IDEAL. RELATIONSHIP. i started this story in 2019 at the age of 19 in the midst of a manic episode lol. give me a break.
