Loving A Hero

Camila's POV

"Well..."

"Does it have to do with our hero?"

"Andrew shush," I giggle.

He smiles at me.

"But yes it's about our hero or as people call her, Wonder Woman."

"What do think of her?" Normani asks.

"She saved my life, I want to know who she is but sadly she's a hero and I'm a normal human and I don't think in any chance I'll be able to know her personally," I said.

"If you love them don't let your differences hold you back but if you really think about that fall for someone you know you can be with," Lauren says.

"Thank you Ms. Jauregui," I smile at her.

"Please just call me Lauren."

"Is there something else in mind Miss?" Normani asks.

"While she was helping me out of the building she called me baby but I shouldn't take it seriously," I pause, "Should I?"

"Your choice," Andrew says.

Soon the paramedics leave and some people have too.

"You get to choose what you want," Lauren whispers to me.

I look up at her sparkling green eyes. I get lost in her eyes, feeling like they took me out of orbit.

"What's wrong?" Lauren whispers.

"Your eyes," I whisper.

"What about them?"

"They are so enchanting," I whisper.

Lauren cups my face. She pulls me in a hug. I frown not thinking this but a kiss. She pulls away but smiles brightly at me.

"Maybe one day," Lauren whispers.

"One day," I whisper to myself when she pulls away.

Who should I fall for? My hero or Lauren? Like Lauren said, find someone who can be there for you.

"I'll give you a chance Lauren," I whisper to myself.

Lauren's POV

After talking a little with Normani I walk back over to Andrew and Camila.

"Do you guys need a lift?"

"No it's fine," Andrew says, "Ready?"

"Ready!" Camila smiles cheerfully.

Camila comes over to me wincing lightly. I hold her arms as she puts her weight on me.

"Thank you for offering," She says.

"Don't mention it!"

"I'll see you again hopefully," Camila whispers.

"You will and I make a promise on that," I smile.

"I have to go," Camila whispers.

"I'll see you until next time then" I whisper.

We pull away a little.

"Bye," She smiles.

"Bye."

We part ways and I look at Mani.

"Who do you think she'll fall for?"

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Hero you, or the real you?" Normani asks.

"Hopefully the real me but from how I was with the hero me," I whisper, "I think the hero me has a bigger chance with her than with my normal me."

"Don't loose hope," Normani nudges my shoulder.

We laugh together and get inside my car.

"One good thing that I'm sure of," I speak up.

"And what is that?" Normani chuckles putting her belt on.

I put mine on and put my key in the ignition. I start the car up and sigh looking at her with a smile.

"That I'm gonna make her fall right into my arms," I said.

"As who?"

I just look at her and bite my lower lip.
