Believe Or Not

Camila's POV

"I-I'm Wonder Woman..."

I chuckle standing up.

"That's easy to say Lauren," I said.

"You don't believe me?" Lauren frowns.

"Why would why?" I said, "Anybody can say that."

"Camila, I'm serious," Lauren says.

"Is this the part where I say 'Oh yeah no wonder you didn't come to dinner, I believe you' Lauren if that's the excuse I'm sorry I'm not believing you," I said.

I open the door to her room.

"I'm sorry," I whisper closing the door.

I pull my phone out, calling Normani. Once I'm done I sigh putting my phone back in my bag.

"Camila?" I hear.

"Ally?" I said, "What are you doing here?"

"Well I'm guessing why are you here," She says.

"Do you believe her?" I asked.

"That Lauren is Wonder Woman?" Ally says, "Well yes."

I bite my lip looking at the floor.

"I saw her and well Shawn too," She says.

"Shawn?" I look up.

"He's Captain America," Ally says.

"So all this time it was them?" I said feeling anger run through me.

"Camila, Lauren has her reason."

"And I don't wanna know. I don't want anything to do with her," I said getting away from Ally.

I walk outside to see Normani's car. I open the door and go inside.

"You okay?" She asks.

"Just... Just drive," I whisper feeling a tear roll down.

Normani doesn't push it and starts driving.

Once we arrive at my house I get out.

"Love you Mani," I smile blowing her a kiss.

"Love you too," She says and I close the door.

I walk to the entrance of my house thinking over everything. I feel my mouth get covered and I panic.

"Sh, sh, sh," I hear them whisper to me.

I feel my eyes get droopy....

Lauren's POV

I throw everything that's on my counter as I hear it fall on the ground. The glass shatters and I kneel down tears falling constantly.

"Lauren?" I hear a small voice on the other side.

I vigorously wipe the tears away and stand up. I open the door, seeing Ally on the other side.

"Yeah?" I whisper my voice cracking.

"I'm sorry," She whispers, "She'll come around."

"You think so?" I whisper.

"I know so she just... Feels betrayed," Ally says.

"I should have told her sooner," I whisper wiping the tear that fell.

"It wasn't your choice," Ally says.

"But..."

"You wanted her to fall in love with both sides of you, she'll get that," Ally says touching my shoulder reassuringly.

"I wasn't able to tell her that..." I whisper.

"What?"

"She left before I was able to," I said.

"Okay well were gonna go to her house and tell her now," Ally whispers.

"Wait n-now?" I stutter.

"Yes now let's go," She says taking my now sweaty hand.
