Soon the only sound that echoed in my ears was that of your little snores. It made me smile widely as I slowly laid your wavering head on my shoulder.
The whole ride home was as silent as a grave. But it was a comforting silence rather than a deafening one.
Soon our bus arrived home and I had to wake you up from your slumber even when I didn't want to.
We both mounted off the bus and I directed you towards my home. When I was unlocking the door I could sense you trembling behind me.
Were you cold or scared?
"The guest room is towards the left..." I pointed towards the room subsequent to mine as I unlocked the main door and we both stepped in.
"Okay..." You replied with that trademark sadness in your voice while your eyes glued to the floor.
