CHAPTER 12
NARRATIVE/ IMESSAGE

Mom had finally caved and was allowing me to drive the car to school. When we first moved here I was kind of grounded, It's confusing. I just got lucky my brothers rather ride the bus so I don't have to hall their ding dong asses around.

I wait for Alejandro who asked for a ride last night, he usually rides with the boys so I'm confused. But i know if this dude takes any longer we might be late.

I grab my phone from my pocket to text him, and if he doesn't show up in five minutes I'm leave him to figure it out himself.

IMESSAGE

Not to my surprise he doesn't reply to my message so I decide to call him. And if I don't get his answer, I'm leaving. Plus if I'm late to Mrs. Mitchell class one more time I'm doomed for detention.

Calling Alejandro it rings almost 5 times before he finally decides to picks up.

"Hey, sorry I'll be down soon, I kinda fell asleep." He chuckles groggily into the phone. We both stayed up a little to late last night FaceTiming.

Alejandro seemed kind of down as I watch him walk to my car. I still was wondering why he wasn't riding with the boys. Did something happen? I didn't want to make Ale annoyed by asking, but I'm curious.

"If I knew you were asleep, I would've called your ass sooner." I laugh as I pull out of the driveway.

"Anyway, thanks for letting me ride with you and sorry we will be late." Alejandro shrugs as he stares out the window.

"Why aren't you riding with the boys though?" I question kind of nervously, because I didn't want it to piss him off or something.

"We just had a little fight last night, and I thought it be best if I don't ride with them today." He replies and shrugs it off, clearly not wanting to talk about it.

Alejandro refused to sit with the boys at lunch and I couldn't find him anywhere. Alexia was already with the boys that had this lunch and I just wanted to eat the food I made this morning.

"So are y'all gonna tell me what's up?" I question sitting down at our usual table next to Alexia. The guys were silent, more then normal.

"Everyone has fights, okay? We could've fixed it last night but nobody is trying to apologize first." Mattia says with a little to much attitude and aggressiveness.

"Kairi has a big mouth so just ask him in seventh period." Roshaun chuckles with a shrug before everyone got back to eating.

"Y'all acting childish as fuck waiting for someone to apologize first. Just be the bigger person and apologize first it's easy literally two words." I respond and roll my eyes, and they say girls are dramatic.

"Calm down before you start another." Alexia jokes siping the Jamba Juice she post-mated to school.

The rest of lunch was pretty boring and quiet besides Alexia trying to break the silence by cracking a stupid joke. Alejandro must really talk a lot or some.

Once seventh period rolled around I was just hyped to find out what the fuck was going on with the boys. Though I hated Mr. McCoy and I wouldn't even hate him if he didn't hate me and send me to the deans 24/7.

"Kairi, tell me what happened with the group I literally beg." I chuckle sitting down at my seat which is in front of his.

"So it was a normal night until Mattia said something about someone and Ale was like 'what the fuck' this lead to them fighting over some girl." Kairi rolls his eyes.

"So this is all because of a girl? Damn what about bros before hoes?" I chuckle wondering who the girl was.

"Yeah and Mattia is waiting for Alejandro to apologize because it's his fault it got that bad." Kairi continues clearly annoyed by his friends bullshit.

"And they say girls are confusing." I laugh shaking my head, "I'll make them apologize, watch me."

"Kairi and Monae would you two like to share your supposedly funny conversation with the class?" Mr. McCoy questions with an annoyed tone.

"Yes, we were just laughing about how ugly your hair looks." I say under my breath while Kairi shakes his head no.

moni: Idc who did what, this is stupid

aloe: DAMNN she right though

toilet king: I did nothing wrong so

ale🥰: nothing wrong my ass

Roshauna: this is literally over a girl, you
guys are better then that

moni: yeah don't be little bitches lmao

alexia: bros before hoes

ale🥰: I just spoke my mind
yesterday and Mattia got butthurt

toilet king: yeah so YOU should
apologize for saying that

ale🥰: no you got out of line while
being butthurt. while I was just
trying to fix it

toilet king: fix it mY aSS, all you did was
call me stupid for how I felt and tell me
my opinion invalid.

ale🥰: you called me names first the fuck.

moni: you guys please, I can't tell you
to apologize because I know it
would be insincere.
moni: but whatever this fight was about
is not important. Friendship is
more important.

toilet king: she right, I'm sorry Alejandro

ale🥰: ig I accept your apology
ale🥰: JKJk
ale🥰: and I'm sorry too

moni: well I'm going to bed now

aloe: it's 5 pm

moni: yeah??

aloe: that's a nap fam

— I don't have much to say today but I guess this chapter is chill. I might make Alexia and Kairi a thing OOP. Also I'm probably adding Jenna and Vic to the story lmao.
