CHAPTER 22
NARRATIVE

"But Im here with you, Vic is probably just in the bathroom." I state trying to make an excuse not to go over and talk to Alejandro.

"No, Vic left a few minutes ago, Alvaro texted me about it." Mattia replies folding his arms waiting for me to grow a pair and go talk to Ale.

"You really trying to get rid of me huh? Just playing, but fine, I'll talk to him." I shrug as I get up and walk back into the gym entrance where Alejandro still stood.

Alejandro gives me a small smile as I approach him, he was eating cookies from the snack table and scrolling through his phone until I got there.

"Hey, I heard about Vic leaving, do you want to talk to me about what happened or?" I ask as I grab a cookie for myself to snack on, waiting for the tea.

"I mean sure but what about Mattia, aren't you here with him?" Alejandro questions, changing the subject onto me.

"Mattia told me to come talk to you, I'll tell you why why after you tell me why Vic left." I state with a smirk, folding my arms across my chest waiting for his answer.

"Well I guess she got mad at me for some stupid shit and I was defending myself, which got her even more pissed. After that she obviously left and told me to fuck off, but we all know she will want me on Monday." Alejandro chuckles shaking his head.

I kind of stand there silently for a few seconds as I think of what to say. I've always sucked at advice and switching topics is kind of rude, why do guys have to be so damn stressful?

"Are you okay though? Even though I should get going now, it's late you know it's 9:15 I could've been asleep 2 hours ago." I chatter trying to avoid telling him my feelings, he probably knows if Mattia knows or he's oblivious or Mattia is just good at reading people.

"Im fine it's no big deal, and we ain't done here, I know you always go to sleep at like 2 a.m stop playing. Tell me why Mattia let you ditch him for the night." Alejandro states folding his arms like a stern parent or some.

"Fine, fine, I like you. You know not just as a friend." I say kind of quietly and awkwardly, probably blushing,  at least i know it's not that noticeable with my skin complexion.

"So what are we going to do? You already know I liked you and our friendship isn't even in a good place right now." Alejandro adds, trying to comprehend everything.

"You right, we can leave and go talk about it? But I finally know what I want." I suggest with a shrug and a small smile.

We sit down with our milkshakes at this tiny cafe that was surprisingly still open. The car ride was silent for the most part, besides when we sang songs. We decided to continue the conversation while eating something instead of in his car.

"So I think maybe we should wait because if we are already having 'trust' problems a relationship will probably make it worse." Alejandro starts nodding his head a little bit.

"But we both like each other, waiting might ruin our chances." I state with a shrug before taking a big ass sip from my chocolate milkshake out of nervousness.

"I guess if we never try it we will never know, so how about we go on a date and see how things go from there. With no labels or whatever yet." Alejandro suggests with a shrug.

"Yeah we could go to the roller skating rank with Alexia and Kairi next weekend? It would be hella fun." I reply, giving out ideas for our "date".

"But we won't get much privacy, maybe we can hangout at my house afterwards." Alejandro adds to my thoughts.

"I like that idea, plus I like your blanket so If it's missing you know where it's at." I tease as I finish my milkshake while Alejandro was barely half done with his.

After we left the cafe we went on a walk through the empty streets. It was a nice night for the most part, both of us were bored but didn't want to end the night so short.

"Bruh the street is so empty, I lowkey feel like we finna get kidnapped." I chuckle trying to make conversation. For being a pretty populated town this street was kind of dead, besides for maybe two cars that passed us.

"So what made you pick me?" Alejandro asks abruptly as we sat down at a bench, leaving me surprised.

"I- You ain't gotta do me like this. But I guess I've always liked you, but when Mattia made a move it confused me." I explain with a small shrug not really having much to say.

"Right so remember when Mattia and I had that childish ass fight? That was because I said I liked you and I guess he liked you too and it became a whole thing." Alejandro chuckles shaking his head.

Awkward tension between us continues to grow as does the silence. I wanted to kiss him but didn't know if this was the right time, but I've always wanted this.

The silence didn't go away as we glanced at each other, and I knew he wanted it too. His eyes moved to my lips back to my eyes. I watched as he started to lean in and bring his hand to the side of my face. I couldn't help but lean in too, my heart racing as we did so.

My gaze met his once again, we were inches apart and I could smell his cologne stronger then before. Our lips finally met and I subconsciously moved my hand and I guess hover it over his bicep/elbow. At this moment nothing else mattered to me besides him. We both pull away taking in a breath, as I open my eyes to see him admiring my face. I couldn't help but look away and take a deep sigh, what just happened?

ok ok so you see I'm probably ruining this book more but it's whatever I'm just trying to improve my writing skills. I tried my best to write this kissing scene, it's alright, better then my others.

BUT GO READ MY MATTIA FIC "BADLY" just published it, it's just cast rn but I'll try and update it as soon as possible.
