After the memory ended, I felt someone shake me, and when I looked up, I saw Liz and Meliodas looking at me worriedly.
With a confused look on my face, I asked, "Why are you guys looking at me like that?". As they both looked at each other, Liz said, "Y/n you haven't been responding for half an hour, we are getting worried.".

I was shocked to realize how long I had been out, I didn't expect it to take half an hour to remember everything.
I looked at them again and smiled shyly saying, "I'm sorry I worried you, I was just lost in my thoughts".
After all, I never intend to worry them, and I hope they will not question me about anything. I scratched the back of my head and pulled an apologetic smile.

Liz seemed to buy it, but Meliodas looked at me with suspicion before asking, "what were you thinking?".
As I looked at him again, I was a bit startled at the time, not knowing what to say, that was until he came up with a quick excuse.
"It was just that I was recalling my cabin and what it was like to live in the forest again, it was so peaceful back then, but now I live in such a beautiful kingdom with kind people. I wouldn't change a thing!".
In an attempt to distract him from my real thoughts, I put on a very sweet smile.
As he looked at me for a couple seconds before smiling back and holding out his hand, he further said," well, why don't we get ready for supper, and if you really miss the forest, perhaps we can go for a walk afterward?".

I looked up at him with sparkles in my eyes and nodded my head, taking his hand and walking to the kitchen.
Liz smiled at us and said "I hope one day you will be able to show each other your true feelings so nothing can break your bond..", what we didn't know is that we were going to lose our friend.......
