Talagang hindi ako tinantanan ng tatlo, at sabay sabay na kaming pumunta sa hideout.

Right after we entered the room and take our seats, Diego handed me the folder with the profiles of Mr. Lao's men.

I scanned it and after seeing the content inside, I put it down.

"Who do you think, among these people sabotaged our transaction?" I asked as I raised the paper and waved it to them.

"Sa tingin ko ay si Jacques Garcia, Mr. Wren," Leon concluded.

"Why?" I asked him and crossed my arms.

"Posibleng siya. Sa tingin ko lang ay gusto niyang siya ang pumalit sa pwesto ni Mr. Lao," Leon shrugged with his own thought.

I clapped my hands, "Great conclusion," I said, "But, have you thought about the heir of Mr. Lao? Lacson...." I added and gave them a meaningful look.

"Bakit niya naman gagawin 'yon? Eh ama niya 'yon, siya ang magmamana ng lahat." Zach asked in confusion.

"Exactly," I smirked.

"Woah! teka boss, ibig sabihin si Lacson ang sumabotahe?" nabibiglang tanong ni Diego.

"I didn't say that Lacson Lao is behind in all of this," I shrugged, "That's why you, Zach, really need to accomplish the task that I gave you,"

"I'm giving you another task," I looked at Diego, "Look after Lacson Lao. Alamin mo kung anong ginagawa niya sa araw araw, pati na rin ang monkey business niya." I added.

"While you," I said and turned to Leon, "Look after Mr. Lao, maybe someone is plotting his downfall."

"Noted, Sir." they said in unison.

"We need to get Mr. Lao as our ally." I smirked, "But, we all know that it's not that easy. So, we need to work hard with this."

One week na ang nakakalipas simula nang magsimula ako na magtrabaho sa kompanya na 'to bilang secretary ni Mr. Wren. Meron na rin akong kaibigan, si Jea. Isa siyang Janitress dito. Naalala ko tuloy sa kanya ang sarili ko noong mga panahong ako pa ang nasa posisyon niya.

Mabait si Jea, maganda din. May kaliitan nga lang pero sa liit niyang 'yan para siyang malaking tao sa taas ng energy.

Naging magkaibigan kami dahil siya lang ang madalas na nakikita ko sa floor ni Mr. Wren. Siya pala kasi ang nakaassign sa floor ng CEO. Dahil wala madalas si Mr. Wren nitong nagdaang linggo ay wala din masyadong trabaho kami ni Jea.
