Chapter 19

Nate's

As soon as the doctor announced that Angel is already far from danger, I felt relieved. Now I need to work on with that asshole. I called some my men to guard on Angel while I'm away.

When I arrive at our org's place, I instantly head to interrogation room. I directed my eyesight to the man who shot Angel. I immediately get my gun and point it to the asshole. I shot him on his shoulder same spot as where he shot my Angel.

He growled in pain. I happily get the stool and place it in front of the man who is in pain. I looked at him angrily, by just looking at him my blood boils and I badly want to kill this man. But I just cant. For now. I need to fish information towards him.

"Who sent you?" I asked as I played the gun on my hand.

He just stared at me not answering my question. I smirked at him. "I'll repeat my question. Who. sent. you." I gave emphasis to my words.

When he still didn't answer me, I shot the wall and he shuddered in fear. "Don't make me repeat my question on the third time," I said and point my gun on his temple. "Answer me or I'll blow your head off?"

He answered me in vibrant. "H-hindi ko alam," I press tightly the gun on his temple he closed his eyes in fear. "H-hindi ko talaga alam promise! Binayaran lang ako! Pinadalhan ako ng bayad kasama ng picture kaya hindi ko talaga alam kung sino! Parang awa mo na 'wag mo kong papatayi-" I didn't let him finish his sentence and I blow his head off. I blow the end of my gun and place it in the table as I turned my back on them. "Nonsense." I glanced at the three idiots. "Follow me."

"We should find who sent that fucker to shot Angel. And the one who's always sending Angel those shitty messages." I stopped on my track and face them. "Work on it. Dig deeper. Don't stop until you don't get enough information about this fucking happenings. Understood?"

"Copy that, Sir." they said in unison. I nod at them and get on my car and drove my way back to the hospital.

Angel's

Nakaayos na ang lahat ng gamit ko, ngayong araw ako idi-discharge. Kasalukuyang inaasikaso nila Zach ang bill ko dito sa hospital, kaya si Nate lang ang kasama ko dito sa loob ng hospital room. Hindi naman nagtagal ay dumating na sila kaya pwede na akong lumabas.

Nagbabyahe na kami pauwi nang mapansin kong iba ang way na dinadaanan namin. Nagtatakang nilingon ko si Nate na nasa tabi ko. "Saan tayo papunta? Hindi ito ang daan pauwi sa apartment," nilingon naman ako nila Diego at Leon na nagsisiksikan sa shotgun seat. Kasya naman kami dito sa backseat pero mas pinili nilang magtabi nalang doon.

"Ah, Angel, hindi pala nasabi sa'yo ni Nate? Doon ka muna sa bahay niya titira para mas ligtas ka." pagpapaalam sa akin ni Leon.

Lumingon ulit ako sa katabi kong si Nate na mukhang malalim ang iniisip at muling ibinalik kay Leon para sumagot. "Huh? Maayos naman na ako ah? Saka ligtas naman doon sa tinitirhan ko."

Binigyan ako ng magaang ngiti ni Leon. "Sundin mo nalang si Nate, Angel. Alam mo namang sobrang nag-alala 'yan sa'yo noong nabaril ka, eh." sumang-ayon nalang ako sa sinabi ni Leon. Tama rin naman kasi kaya hindi na ako nagpumilit pang doon na sa apartment tumuloy.
