Nathaniel finally woke up from his unsuspected sleep on his bed and saw Klaus sitting next to him. He was going to get up but was a little weak so he went back to bed. Klaus gets a blood bag and gives it to Nathaniel with a smile.
"Why are you here? And why aren't you with your witch Niklaus." Nathaniel said as he drinks the blood and looks at Klaus.
"I came to check if you were okay and you are more important than some witch plus I have to tell you something, love."
"Don't 'love' me Niklaus. You know how much I like you but you just played with my emotions. I thought you had the same feeling from the kiss but I guess I was wrong." Nathaniel said with a tear.
"Nathaniel STOP!.. I only got with Genevieve because I knew she had something up her sleeves. I do like you but I never been with a man before so when you kissed me I was surprised and shocked." Klaus got closer to his best friend. "Please Nathaniel I can't have you hating me because you are the one that I talk to when I need someone." Klaus said as he grabbed his hand.
"I find that hard to believe that you haven't been with a man." Nathaniel said with a curious face. "It's just I want you to tell me how you feel about me being here because I don't like it when my heart is being played with. I don't hate you Nik because without you in my life I don't have anyone." Nathaniel said as he looked at Klaus's blue/green eyes.
"Okay first of yes I never been with a guy because I was mostly running from my father trying to kill us. Second I never been with a guy because none of them made me feel like you did when I started to get my memories back." Klaus looked into Nathaniel's eye as he was holding his hand. "Nathaniel when your around I can't breath, I get so worried when something happens to you even though I know you can take care of yourself. I am worried that if we try this that I might lose you and our friendship. Ever since you came back to us I can't think straight." Klaus said gasping for air.
"Niklaus you'll never lose me. Even if you do something stupid which you will. Plus it's nice to know that I have an affect on you." Nathaniel said as he touched Klaus's face gently.
Nathaniel got closer to Klaus that he can almost feel his lips. He heard Klaus's heart beating faster. Klaus thought Nate was going to kiss him but Nate teased him and got off the bed.
"Come on Nate don't be like that love." Klaus said as he watched Nathaniel take off his shirt.

"The teasing love... I'm the one that teases. But damn you can do it whenever now with that amazing body of ours." Klaus said as he watched Nathaniel change from the bloody clothes.
