AT THE revelation, Nathaniel, Klaus, and Hayley set out to find out more information that pertained to Lucien Castle and Kingmaker Land Development. They did not discover much, only that every single building the man owned were identical in every aspect. If they were to learn anything, they needed to find the location where Lucien maintained a headquarters.
Nathaniel believed Lucien to be the type to actually have a headquarters. He gave off the typical villain vibe.
In the off change that they were about to walk into something dangerous, Hayley called Mary, Jackson's grandmother, to pick up Hope and Andrew so they would be far from anything that could harm them. Klaus wanted Nathaniel to go with the children but he didn't especially since Nathaniel could hold his own in a fight.
Hayley and Nathaniel passed off Hope and Andrew to Mary a few yards away, from a diner. Klaus had his phone held to his ear at the hood of his vehicle. Nathaniel heard Elijah when he answered, but he walked off before he could hear more. He could tell it was important by Klaus's tense stance.
"If you find him, don't hesitate," Klaus exclaimed into the phone, before he hung out and shoved it into his coat pocket.
Nathaniel turned to him and was about to ask about the call, until Hayley walked back over to them.
"Hope and Andrew's down for the count," the hybrid said when she approached. "They fell asleep as soon as Mary started the car. I doubt they'll miss either of us over the next few days." She pulled a piece of paper out of her pocket with multiple addresses written across it and set it on the hood of the car. "So -which of these Kingmaker offices should we hit up first? There's ten of them."
Nathaniel stared at Klaus as his expression hardened. The call must have been bad. "What is it Nik?" He asked him.
Klaus glanced to him and then to Hayley. "Lucien has revealed his true nature. He's taken Freya." Nathaniel's eyes widened. "And now, it seems her rescue depends on Elijah working with my ever reliable brother Finn."
"Oh -and you want to go back to New Orleans to head up the hunt?" Hayley questioned, the disappointment clearly in her tone. She nodded when she noticed his torn gaze. "Fine. You should go. Nate and I will stick with Kingmaker, though. Lucien's working very hard to cover up these wolf kidnappings, and I want to know why." She reached out to take the keys from where they were placed on the hood and turned to get behind the wheel.
Klaus grabbed her wrist to stop her. "No. The wolves. Freya's abduction -it can't be a coincidence. We'll let my brothers pursue the obvious path." He smiled and released his grasp. "We -will purse this one. No doubt all roads," he pointed to the third address on the list, 1283 Forest Road, "lead to the same treacherous bastard."

The three of them began their exploration of the Kingmaker office building. So far, none of them turned up anything. Simple construction development firms. They drove all over Tennessee, until they stopped in Lexville. The home of another office.Nathaniel huffed as he exited the vehicle, when his gaze landed on the front of the building, he groaned at the sight. Another identical building. Right down to the bushes outside.
"Does he just mass-copy these things, or something?" Nathaniel quipped, staring at the façade. "I swear this looks exactly like the last one. Same windows, same plants."
"And inside, same generic abstract art, same compellable receptionist," Klaus added when the three of them stood side-by-side. His annoyance visible.
