I wake up in the morning and shake Bob to leave so I can get dressed.
"Or I could just stay," He smirks.
"Quit acting like a greaser," I push him out.
I put on a yellow button-up sweater and grey polka dot skirt.
I put tan boot-heels and go downstairs. I hop in the backseat and Bob starts the car.

"Did you fuck my sister?" Randy asks.
"What?!" Bob scoffs, "No! We didn't fuck!"
"Did you kiss her?" Randy asks. Bob stays silent and blushes. "Holy shit, dude!
"Are you mad?" Bob asks.
"Nah, if anyone's gonna date N/N, I'm glad it's you," Randy shrugs.
"Come on, Randy, we aren't dating!" I roll my eyes.

I get to school and Bob puts his arm around me as we go to the patio. I smile to myself and sit down.
After fourth period, Dally follows me to my locker.
"When'd you get out of the cooler?" I ask.
"Man.. you're really are dating that soc, huh?" Dally questions, ignoring my words.
"Well, we aren't dating," I blush, "I mean... I don't know. We kissed, but that's really it."

"Shit," Dally looks past me.
I follow his gaze to my locker.
"I F*CKED BOB SHELDON" was written in lipstick and several pictures of Bob kissing me against his car were taped to my locker, along with some from my bedroom.
I walk to my locker and I rip the pictures off.
I march to the greasers side of the patio.

"The hell is your deal?" I slam the pictures down in front of the three girls, "Taking pictures at the DX is one thing, but how the hell did you find out where I live?"
"Wait a sec, I'll admit we took the one's at the DX," Sandy grins.
"But we didn't take these," Evie points to the photos of the one in my bedroom.
"Gee, these look awfully close," Sylvia smirks, "Sure your boyfriend didn't set up a timed camera?"

"He wouldn't have done that," I shake my head. I look up at Bob, who was looking at me worriedly.
"Then someone else's out to get you," Evie shrugs.
I furrow my eyebrows and walk back to table.
I sit between Cherry and Bob, and see Marcia messing around with a polaroid camera.

"Marcia, where'd you get that camera?" I ask her.
"It's Cherry's," She explains, "Say cheese!"
My eyes widen as I realize.
"You're the one who took those photos?" I point at Cherry, "Why would you do that? I thought we were friends!"
"I mean, we were until you stole my boyfriend," Cherry stands up.
"You weren't even dating!" I scoff.

"Yeah, well, we would've if you didn't get in the way!" Cherry slaps me.
The patio goes silent as my cheek begins to sting more. I lightly touch the bandaid and stare at her, awestruck.
"Don't touch my fucking sister!" Randy yells.
"What the hell did I do?!" Cherry asks.
"Get away from her!" Tim screams. Curly pulls me to the greasers side and I just sit there.

"Shoot, you sure are tough," Pony smiles sadly.
"You okay, Y/N?" Soda asks.
"Does it hurt?" Dally questions.
"You can worry about me when your girlfriends stop ruining my life," I stand up and walk away. I begin to walk back home, but almost get hit by a car on the way.
"Shoot, sorry, kid!" A handsome young man apologizes. "Hey, shouldn't you be in school?"

"Shouldn't you?" I raise my eyebrow.
"I'm eighteen," He says.
"I'm four, haven't started school yet," I begin to walk away.
"Wait a minute, I can't just let you walk about alone," He gets out of the car, "There's dangerous people out here."
"Are you dangerous?" I ask. He shakes his head. "I'll be fine then."

"At least let me drop you home," He says, "Really kid, it's no big deal. Today's my off day, I ain't doing much."
"I don't trust soc," I look him up and down, "I can walk alone."
"I'm not a soc," He says, "I'm grease. I've got two brothers, Ponyboy and Sodapop. They're in high school too."
"You're Pony's brother?" I ask, smiling.
"Yeah, I am," He nods.

After thinking for a second, I say, "Alright, you can drop me home."
I get into his car and give him directions. But halfway through the ride I remember.
"Shoot, Julia and Ted are home!" I frown, "I'm sure gonna get it."
"Do you want me to turn around? I can take you back to school," The man, who's name I learned was Darry, offers.

"Yeah, sure," I sigh.
By the time I get there, it's seventh period. I wait for the eighth period bell to ring before sneaking back in.
"Y/N, you're here!" Ponyboy brightens up.
"Yeah, I was gonna go home but I remembered Julia and Ted were there. I didn't wanna explain so I came back. Your brother, Darry, drove me."
"He did?" Ponyboy questions, "I didn't know he was capable of being nice!"

"He was actually really sweet," I say, "I know where you get your kindness from."
"No way! Darry can't be kind!" Ponyboy shakes his head.
"Maybe if you talk to him you can find out why he's acting so cold to you," I suggest.
"Hey, Y/N, need a ride?" Tim asks.
"No thanks, I'm gonna ride with Bob and Randy," I wave.

Only when I get to the blue mustang I see Marcia, Cherry, a girl soc, and a boy soc, all sitting in the backseats.
"Sorry, socs only," Cherry giggles, "No grease allowed."
"What?" I question, "Bob, Randy?"
"Sorry, Y/N," Bob just looks forward.
"Seriously?" I scoff. He doesn't answer, "Take this, I don't want 'em."
I throw the pictures Cherry and Marcia took and storm off. I now have no ride home. Great.
