When I wake up in the morning, I immediately get dressed and basically fly downstairs. I run past my family, and out into the street.
"Be home by seven for dinner!" Julia tells behind me.
I nod, even though she probably couldn't tell, and just keep running. I check my watch, 1:47. Wow, I slept in.
I run all the way to the Curtis house, where the whole gang was.
"What's up, Y/N?" Johnny nods to me.

"Y'all excited for dinner?" I ask.
"Can't wait for your dad to finally except me as his future son-in-law," Dally nods.
"Yeah right, that's me," Two-Bit scoffs.
I roll my eyes and sit with Soda on the couch.
"How're you?" He asks.
"Uh, kinda nervous," I laugh, "This is the first time all seven of you are coming over at once."
"I'll keep everyone in check," Soda tells me, "You can count on me."

"I know," I smile, "Thanks, Soda."
"Hey, I think Ted's starting to warm up to me," Soda says, "Maybe I can win him over tonight."
"We'll see," I shrug, "I think if you just give it time, he'll learn to love you."
"I can't believe he likes Dallas more than me," He chuckles.
"I heard that!" Dally shouts from the kitchen.
"To be fair," I begin, "The main reason he doesn't like you is because of you great looks and charm, so it's really just a compliment."

"Right. 'Soda, I don't like you because you're so devilishly handsome and charming'," Soda rolls his eyes.
"At least it's not, 'Soda, I hate your personality and you're ugly'," I purse my lips.
"Fair enough," He shrugs.
"We've got like five hours until we have to go to my place," I tell everyone.
"We could watch some movies," Ponyboy suggests.

"Yeah, or not," Darry says.
"Than what?" Pony asks.
"I dunno, just not that," Darry shrugs.
"We can grab a quick lunch," Two-Bit says.
"Y'all go ahead," I say, leaning back on the couch.
"You come over to our house to.. not hang out with us?" Ponyboy furrows his eyebrows.
"I'm not that hungry," I tell him.

"You can just order a drink," Two-Bit says.
"Okay, honestly, I ran all the way here and I'm too tired to walk into town," I admit.
"Oh," Is all Johnny says before picking me up, bridal style, and carrying me out the door.
"Holy shit, you actually have muscles?" I ask him.
"I will drop you," He speaks in a monotone voice.

"Sorry," I laugh.
"Hey, Darry!" Johnny shouts.
I give him a confused look before Johnny literally throws me into Darry's arms.
"Hey there," Darry smiles at me.
"Hi?" I tilt my head.
"Bye," He throws me to Sodapop.
"Wait, no!" I shout.
Soon all the guys are throwing me around.
"You're really light, Y/N," Dally laughs.
"Y'all are just freakishly strong," I scoff, then my stomach gets upset, "Wait, I've gotta barf!"

Dally sets me down and I throw up into nearby bushes.
"Woah, you okay?" Steve asks.
"I guess it's time to tell you the truth," I sigh, "I'm pregnant."
They all stare at me.
"That's the dumbest thing you've ever said."
"Yeah, so am I."
"Sure, I'm the father."
"You're a terrible liar."
"Y/N, we all know that's not true."
"You've never even kissed a guy."

"First of all," I snap, "Rude. And second of all, I've kissed plenty of guys."
"Name one guy other than Bob," Dally smirks.
I stand there for a while, contemplating my next choice.
"Well," I mumble as Dally crosses his arms.
"I'm waiting," He says.
I take a step forward, then blush.
"Nevermind," I sigh.

"That's what I thought," He laughs.
We walk to the diner and I have a coke while the boys scarf down their burgers and fries. Two-Bit and Steve order four burgers each and have a contest on who could eat the most.
Two-Bit won, but spill ketchup all over my shirt. So when we get back to the Curtis house, Soda gives me one of his shirts.
A few hours later, we all walk over to my house. I go up to my room to change into one of my shirts.

"Hey, Y/N, you done?" Soda asks.
I open the door and let him in.
"Yeah," I nod, "Here's your shirt back."
"I'll just leave it in here, I'd probably leave it somewhere I'll forget," He chuckles.
"Right," I continue to nod.
We stand there, kinda awkwardly for a bit.
"Hey, what were you gonna do earlier?" Soda questions, "When you said nevermind to Dally."
"Oh," I nervously laugh, "I was gonna kiss him and then say his name, but that would've been awkward."

"You should've just kissed me," He jokes.
"Right, the middle Curtis brother," I laugh.
"What's wrong about being the middle child?" Soda scoffs.
"Nothing," I shrug, opening the door and walking out.
He laughs and walks downstairs with me.
"Y/N, Soda, just in time," Julia sets down plates.
I take a seat next to Ponyboy and Dally.

"What were you two up there doing alone?" Ted questions.
"Making out," I take a bite of the food.
Sodapop spits out his drink, and everyone around the table laughs.
"That's not- we didn't- I didn't-" Soda stammers.
"Relax, hot shot," Ted rolls his eyes, "I know you and Y/N would never kiss."
"You think I can't kiss him?" I furrow my eyebrows.

"I think he can't kiss you," Ted corrects.
Soda takes a napkin and wipes where he spit out the drink.
"Thanks?" I speak in more of a question than statement.
"So, I heard you boys won the rumble," Julia smiles, trying to make the conversation.
"Yupupup," I interrupt them all, "Please word it so that my parents'll invite you to dinner again."

"Yes, we beat them," Dally looks down at me spitefully.
I nod in approval and he shakes his head, smiling.
"You all look pretty banged up," Julia adds.
"Yeah, but Y/N's a pretty good nurse," Darry smiles.
Ted and Julia look at me proudly.
"Gee, Y/N," Randy cuts in, "You should've seen the other socs. They could've used your help."

"Like I'd help them," I laugh.
"Attagirl," Ted nods.
Then, there's a knock on the door. Ted, Julia, and Randy stand. Ted and Randy go to the door, while Julia adds an extra chair.
"Is Bob here?" I ask, and the guys groan, "Be nice."
"Not exactly," Randy walks back into the dining room with Marcia.
"What's she doing here?" Dally scoffs.

"Watch it, Winston," Randy tells him.
"What is she doing here?" I repeat.
"Cherry was controlling her too," Randy sits down with her, "Since school's out in less than a month, Marcia decided to.. unfriend her."
"The plot thickens," Two-Bit elbows Steve, who's sitting next to him.
"That's not the only things, see her stomach?" Steve whispers just loud enough for me and Two-Bit to hear.

"So I wanted to apologize," Marcia speaks up, "I didn't know she was the one who took the photos. And I told her to say sorry, but she threatened to spread rumors about me... I'm sorry."
'Cherry's such a bitch!' I think to myself.
"Cherry's such a bitch!" Johnny shouts, surprising everyone.
"Yeah, she is," Ted laughs.
"Wow, Marcia," I look at her, "I'm sorry you were stuck in such a toxic friendship."

"It's okay," She nervously smiles, "I'll just be sticking with Bob and Randy for now."
"There's one more thing we need to say," Randy sighs.
"N-Now?" Marcia asks, scared.
"Now or never," Randy holds her hand.
"What's up?" I ask.
They look at each other, and Randy nods.
"I'm..." Marcia takes a deep breath.
"HOLY SHIT, YOU'RE PREGNANT!"

We all turn our heads to the voice. Hearing the statement, you would've guessed Dally, Steve, or Two-Bit. But the one who yelled was none other than my own mother.
"Y-Yes," Marcia nods quickly, afraid at Julia's outburst.
"Nonono," Julia shakes her head, "I'm sorry, sweetie, I'm just surprised."
"We'll do whatever we can to help," Ted assures her.

"Cool, I'm an aunt," I grin.
"Then I'm an uncle," Dally puts his arm around my shoulder.
"You have five seconds to get that arm off my daughter or else, Dallas," Julia gives him a death stare.
"Yes ma'am," Dally gulps and puts his hands in his lap.
I've learned that Dally has two fears. One is losing someone he dearly loves, Johnny. And the next is my mother.

"Tomorrow's Monday, we should probably get to bed," I say.
"Yeah," Darry nods, "We'll see you guys later."
"Hey, Y/N, I'll pick you up at around... seven?" Soda says.
"I'll be ready," I nod.
I walk them out and wave goodbye.
I go upstairs and shower. When I'm done, I lay down in bed. Mickey goes up the little ramp I made her and snuggles up next to me.
