I must say that Samar was really good with kids or maybe it was just because Sia was an awesome kid to spend time with.

Looking at the time, I was just going to inform them about leaving but Samar beat me to that and asked Sia if she wanted ice cream.

"YES!" she yelled happily and ran towards the icecream stall, which was situated near the entrance gate.

Worrying that Samar might lose her because of how hyper she was, I decided to leave after they were done with ice cream.

"What flavour of ice creams do you want?" Samar asked while removing his wallet.

"Strawberry", Sia answered excitedly.

"What about you?" he asked upon not receiving an answer from me.

"I don't want any", I replied, a little awkwardly.

"Why? The icecream is really tasty here, you should try it atleast one. Ooo, I understood now. You are dieting, aren't you?" he asked in a knowing tone.

"I didn't bring my wallet", I deadpanned.

Dieting and me, that was never going to happen.

He furrowed his eyebrows, hearing my answer.

"So what? I will pay", he simply said, shrugging his shoulders.

"No, I like to pay for myself", I rejected his offer.

"But...", he protested.

"Please. I am not just saying it, I seriously don't like other's spending money for me", I requested.

This was something, I won't compromise unless there was an emergency. And ice cream didn't count as one.

"Umm...okay. I won't force you if that's something, you are adamant on. How about I pay it for you now and you can return me afterwards?" he suggested.

Thinking it over, I nodded. It wasn't like, we would never meet again, seeing the size of this town plus Sia was also getting bored by just standing there and not receiving her ice cream.

"Get me a chocolate ice cream", I informed him.

Sia and I talked randomly, waiting for him to come with our orders. Atfirst, I thought of going to help him but he looked so confident. Thinking that I would just hurt his pride instead of being helpful, I let him go on his own.

"Here we go; one strawberry icecream for our Queen of Stone Castle Sia, one vanilla icecream for her biggest fan i.e me and one chocolate icecream for a commoner", saying this he handed us our icecreams.

I looked at a slideshow of expressions Sia went through after hearing his words.

Sia squealed hearing him call her a Queen, hugged him when he called himself her fan and laughed like crazy when he called me a commoner.

I too laughed even though the joke was on my expense. Her cuteness was to die for.

Samar got Tanya's call asking for our whereabouts. After knowing where we were she came towards the icecream stall as she needed to take Sia home. She was pleasantly surprised, finding me also there with them.

We just stood there talking, when Rishi unexpectedly came towards us, huffing out of breath.

"What the hell Trisha? Do you know how worried everyone is for you? We all were searching crazily for you and here you are enjoying ice cream", Rishi spoke angrily, running his hand through his hair, not giving me a chance to answer.

"I am sure its some misunderstanding, Man", Samar told Rishi looking slightly towards his left.

"Look I don't have time for this. We will talk at home", saying this Rishi pulled me with him already calling home and informing that he found me .

I yelled out a bye to Tanya, Sia and Samar, barely managing to turn my head as Rishi kept pulling my hand.

When we reached home, I saw everyone looking worried and exhausted.

"What is this Trisha? Do you even know how worried we were on not finding you home? You even left your mobile at home. So many bad thoughts ran through our mind. How can you be so irresponsible?" Aunty fired her questions in a disappointed tone.

"Listen Trisha, this would have worked with your parents but we need to know, where you are. You cannot just disappear like this", Uncle scolded.

"This is not your city", Aunt too joined him.

"But.."

No one listened to me and went on and on about my carelessness.

"STOP", I shouted in irritation.

"Atleast listen to me once, before shouting at me and bringing my parents into the conversation", I spoke, trying hard to keep my tears at bay.

They all stopped what they were saying and waited for me to continue.

I turned towards Aunty and told her in a tired tone.

"No one was at home so...", before I could complete, Uncle started his lecture again.

"So you thought, it was okay to leave without informing anyone", he completed my sentence with his owm assumptions.

"I texted Aunt that I was going to park, before leaving", I informed him the actual version of what I was going to speak.

On hearing me, everyone turned towards her, she smiled sheepishly at us.

"My phone's battery died and I forgot to charge it, as I was worried upon not finding Trisha at home".

Uncle and the twins shook their head at Aunt's antics and turned towards me saying sorry.

They looked cute with those puppy eyes they were making and not to forget how they held their ears to apologize. I would have laughed at their expressions if I wasn't so hurt by their words.

Yes, I had a different upbringing but that didn't mean they could use it against me or speak like my parents were fools for allowing me certain things. What they said, made me feel like an outsider again.

Shaking my head at them wordlessly, I went to my room.
