KH3: Two Worlds, Two Hearts, One Love (Sora X Jamie)

They were brought back in the Scare Floor where the man in the Organization XIII cloak approached them.

"Who are you?" Sora asked.

"Gotta say, that strange facade had me fooled at first, brother," the man said.

"Wait a sec..." Sora replied then realized, "Oh yeah! You were at the cathedral!"

"And hey! Who are you to call anyone strange?" Jamie defended.

"Say, do we know this guy?" Goofy asked Donald, who was just as confused.

"We haven't ever met in the flesh. I am Vanitas," the man introduced, shocking Donald and Goofy.

"This is the part where you spout some mumbo jumbo and disappear, right?" Sora asked.

"This whole world was powered by scream. They converted the screams of human children into energy. And this very company was what made it all happen. It's as rich a source as negative emotion as we'll ever find," Vanitas explained.

"For the last time, we already stopped doing that!" Mike yelled.

"Did you? Then how do you explain all these canister of surplus scream?" Vanitas asked then said, "This facility was everything I could ever hope for. And I was lucky enough to find a pawn whose hearts were darkened by thoughts of revenge."

"You mean Randall and G/E/N," Mike remarked.

"All they ever cared about was winning. And we took advantage of that weakness," Sulley told him.

"My heart is made of just one thing. And the Unversed collected enough screams and sadness from those children to reconstruct it," Vanitas stated.

"Yeah, and the whole time they were trashing our company in the process!" Mike exclaimed as Y/N held him back from charging.

"But, even with all this negative emotion, my heart is still incomplete. I need something else," Vanitas replied, dropping the canister.

It then released the scream energy while flying around the room until finally falling to the floor and rolling to Sora's feet.

"The half of me that sleeps on inside of your heart," Vanitas said to Sora with a blade at him, making him turn around.

"Vanitas!" Sora and Jamie yelled, their voices, mixing with another male's voice, then were shocked that they both said it.

"Interesting. It would seem that only one half rests in you," Vanitas said, turned his blade to Jamie, then finished, "while the other half resides in your girlfriend."

This shocked everyone.

"Ventus. What a strange place to slither off to. In two people," Vanitas smirked as he approached the two of them then added with a hand outstretched to Jamie, "you insignificant speck."

Sora smacked it away then pulled Jamie behind him, asking Vanitas, "What are you talking about?"

Meanwhile, Sulley, Y/N, Mike, and Boo were sneaking behind the tables to ambush Vanitas.

"Oh, you wouldn't remember. When you were little, you formed a special bond with a boy named Ventus who joined with your heart. And it would seem that through small physical contact, he was able to send part of that bond into your lovely friend," Vanitas answered.

"Ven!" Donald exclaimed.

"Is he saying that one of the missing Keyblade wielders is inside both Sora's and Jamie's hearts?" Goofy asked.

"How is that possible?" Sora wondered, looking at his hand.

"And why me too?" Jamie added.

"Now you both will return Ventus to me," Vanitas remarked.
