Once in the video game store, Rex saw them and brought the copy of the game, Verum Rex, to the group of four.

"Look! Look! I found it! See, Sora!" Rex exclaimed.

The four looked it over.

"Well, I never looked this good. The clothes kinda match," Sora pointed out.

Woody and Buzz looked around the store to see a large sign for that video game.

"Whaddaya know! They are video game figures. See? I told ya, Buzz. They're toys, just like the rest of us," Woody pointed out.

"Well, I suppose," Buzz said.

Sora then looked at Donald.

"Donald, I thought your magic decided how I look. Explain," Sora whispered to him.

"Simple. That's not you," Donald said smugly.

"Say, Riku would make a great action figure!" Goofy replied.

"Must be him!" Donald added.

"No! It's me. I've got the black clothes and, uh..." Sora tried to convince.

"So what?" Donald smirked.

"No offense, Sora. But that looks more like Riku than it does you," Jamie admitted, rubbing her arm.

"Et tu, Jamie?" Sora asked, feigning hurt.

"All right, everyone. Now that we're back together, it's time to return to Andy's room," Buzz announced.

"Now? But can't I at least check the strategy guides? I want to know how to beat Bahamut!" Rex said, rummaging through the game guides.

"Next time. Right now, we need to go home," Buzz told him, put the booklet down, patted Rex's nose, then they headed for the entrance of the store.

But a familiar voice stopped them.

"Oh, but you needn't rush off," Young Xehanort said.

"Xehanort!" Sora exclaimed, summoning his Keyblade and rushing toward him.

"I have more to observe. I can't let you leave yet," Young Xehanort stated.

"It's us that you really want. Leave the others out of this," Sora commanded.

"You would say that, champion of light. Very well, let's skip to the final stage," Young Xehanort smirked.

Then Buzz was taken over, making Rex look at him.

"Buzz? What's the matter?" Rex asked.

Instead of answering, Buzz aimed his laser at Woody's head, making him turn to him.

"C'mon Buzz. Quit fooling around," Woody said.

"Uh, Woody? He's not fooling around," Jamie said, rushing toward him and summoning her bow and key arrows.

"Look out!" Goofy yelled, doing the same.

Buzz fired his laser at Woody, but Jamie dove in front of him and shot an arrow at the blast, making it disappear. The next one Goofy blocked with his shield.

"I can't believe it! Buzz has been taken over?" Woody said in shock.

"There is a chance to bring him back. Just remember that," Jamie pointed out.

Goofy and Jamie continued protecting Woody while Rex and Donald tried to stop Buzz.

"What did you do to him?!" Sora demanded.

He then ran to Young Xehanort and attempted to strike him with his Keyblade, but YX teleported away. As he talked, Sora continued to strike, but he teleported away every time.

"I thought I made it clear. I am testing the strength of their bonds. In this world, toys have hearts. And those hearts come from a power bond. So what happens when those bonds are stretched to their limit? When they are worlds apart, can cloth and plastic hold on to their hearts? All I needed was a wedge to widen the divide—someone like you to fill them with distrust and doubt. And that chasm you created can be filled with a vast darkness. Witness it for yourself," Young Xehanort explained.

Sora looked around for YX.

"Sora!" Donald shouted, getting Sora's attention.

He saw the scene unfolding.

"Do somethiiing!" Rex pleaded.

"On my way!" Sora said, about to help.

Before he could help, YX had him lifted in the air.

"Not this time!" Young Xehanort remarked.

He then blasted him into a television screen.

"SORA!" Jamie yelled out worriedly.

Sora then woke up on a building at night as Gigas robots came out.

"Where am I?" Sora asked.

"Haven't you heard?" Young Xehanort's voice sounded then continued, "In this world, you come from a video game. So now, you can watch my experiment from inside that screen. That is...if you manage to find a moment's rest."

The Gigas then came for him.

"There's got to be a way out. Buzz, Woody, Jamie, hang on!" Sora said then prepared to fight.
