Couple years later

"What the fuck did I tell you?"

"I-"

"Nah, I thought you said you love me right?" Shawn questioned'

"Of course, why wouldn't I?"

"Well do what the fuck I asked"

"But I-

"KEY'ONNA IT'S NOT UP FOR DISCUSSION!" He yelled

"That's not fair! You always want me to do some shit for you but you never do shit for me!"

"You living in this motherfucking house right?" He questioned

I didn't answer him.

"What I fucking thought, get the fuck out my face bruh. Im finna call you some shit, that's gonna hurt your feelings"

I stood there.

He walked up to me and forcefully pulled me by my hair and dragging me up the stairs. "You really gon start listening to me" He tossed my body on the last step and stepped on my hand.

I put my knees to my chest and let tears fall.

"Key'onna" He walked over to me. "I'm sorry, you know I wouldn't hurt you"

Here I was in the bathtub remembering the event that happened years ago, I honestly thought I made the right choice of taking Shawn back but I really didn't. I was a whole nother person while in a relationship with him, I was weak, he made me weak, but now im slowly recovering and starting to be that tough Key'onna again.

"Key'onna?" I heard kacey knock on the door

"Yes?"

"You okay in there, you been in there for a good while" She said

"Yea I'm fine K.C, im finna get out though" I told her

"Okay me and Kai made food, hopefully you like it"

"Oh lord" I mumbled

I currently have a clothing store which is doing very good actually, when Shawn abused me, I took it to the court and I basically got paid a whole lot, half of the money was used for my business.

Shawn is still a football player, i'm not surprised though, he's good at football just wasn't a good boyfriend and im out of all people I thought were the lat people to ever hurt me.

I stepped out of the tub and admired my body, I looked beautiful in my eyes, I don't know about anyone else but I've always felt that I was and will forever be. I dried myself then lotioned my body, put some deodorant and then I got into my clothes.

I walked into the kitchen to see Kacey and Kai talking, everything stopped when I entered.

"Why ya'll stopped talking? Ya'll do know you can continue?" I questioned

They both looked at each other then turned to me. "We're both worried about you" Kai finally spoke up

"Why? Im perfectly fine"I sat down

"You've just haven't been acting like the Key'onna we both knew and loved" Kacey said

"But im mature, I thought everyone had to grow up at some point and I did that" I looked at both of them confused

"Listen we still love you no matter what, ust tell us if something is up with you Key" Kai side eyed me

"Of course, the three of us are forever bestfriends" I sighed. "I should've choose Dex"

"You can't change the past, you need to focus on you Key, Dex is somewhere out there, you know damn well he aint go no where" Kacey stated

"You right, but im easy to find. I'm literally one of the people that's stalked since im labeled as a football stars ex and have my own store. " I ate my food. "In several locations" I added

"What if you and Dex meet again and he's still the same?" Kacey questioned

"I have no idea but i'm just convinced that's his personalitly" I shrugged. "Lets stop talking about him either way I got hurt, by my savior and my soul snatcher"

"Hopefully you can find Dex, You're just in the house unless you're with your family or if we drag you with us and if you're checking on your store" Kai butted in

"Even if I found him, I would be the same. I just need to focus on me, like Kacey said"

They both nodded thier heads.

"I'll bet you 500 that you and Dex will see each other and end up being a thing" Kai had a mouth full of food in his mouth
