Is fate even true? Is destiny real?

"Maging masaya ka na, oh!" Romeo muttered.

"I'm masaya naman, ah?" I glanced at him and saw the other boys beside him looking so problematic too.

"H'wag ka na magsinungaling, kita sa mukha mo, oh!"

"I'm not nga," I smiled. "Look, 'di ba, naka-smile me? Happy ako!"

"Pangit mo um-acting, G." Baste retorted, shaking his head.

"Huh?" I pouted, bumaba ang eyes ko sa rainbow roses na nasa lap ko ang I touched it. "You know, boys. I am ayos lang talaga."

They just stared at me silently and I sighed.

"Well, yeah, I was kinda scared and confused." I said.

"Scam 'yon, G." Romeo said and I stared at him and spoke.

"You said kasi na legit, and you said, dati when you make pa-hula na magkaka-money ka, mayroon." I said.

"That's..." Romeo thought of something to say but I motioned my hand and told them it's fine.

"It's okay, I'm okay. Happy na ako because my rainbow roses ako from Luci!" I raised the bouquet and saw them smirking at me.

"Patay na patay na si Cap," Owen said and my eyes widen.

"P-Patay?" I muttered. "H-Huh? Pero nandito lang s'ya earlier! H-He gave me flowers and now you're telling me he's dead?!" I exclaimed.

They just stared at me like I was some kind of alien but my heart hurt. I couldn't understand. Why? Luci is just here and now...

Sumikip ang heart ko, humigpit ang pag-hug sa flowers and my eyes swelled but Baste's crumpled face is what I saw in the background.

"Alam mo mas slow ka pa sa internet connection sa Pilipinas," he suddenly muttered and I looked at him.

"H-Huh?" He just rolled his eyes at me.

"Not literally, G." Romeo said and I was left confused there while looking at them. "It was just an expression—"

"Ano nanamang ginagawa n'yo d'yan?" My heart skipped a beat when I heard a familiar voice and I shifted my gaze, napa-stand ako sa upuan ko and I left the bouquet before running towards Luci.

"Woah!" He seemed shock, I hugged his waist and I felt him caressed my back.

"What's the matter?" He whispered. I closed my eyes and sighed, I buried my face on his neck and he touched my back, slowly hugging me back.

"Ano nanamang ginawa n'yo?" Luci asked and I felt his hug on my body.

"S-Sabi nila dead ka na," I whispered.

"What?" I felt his head shifted. "Gago kayo, umalis lang ako patay na pagbalik?"

"Hindi literal, Cap!" I heard Romeo's voice and I heard their laughter.

"What?" Luci sounded confused too.

"Sabi nila patay na patay ka kay G," Romeo muttered and I felt Luci froze.

I lifted my gaze at him and when I met his eyes, I spoke. "Right? Sabi nila dead ka!"

He stared at me and I pouted when a smile escaped his lips, "You don't get it?" He asked.

"Huh?" I asked, now feeling more confused.

The boys laughed more in the background kaya I shifted my body and looked at them. They were totally entertained, even si Ian ay nag-s-smile.
