Kabanata 24

"Anong movie?" She asked and I panicked.

I gulped hard, coughing and covered my mouth a bit before laughing awkwardly.

"I-I did nothing bad!" I exclaimed with my wide eyes.

"Cathalina—"

"I promise! Peksman! Padlock! Throw ang key!" I exclaimed horribly and I watched her eyes glance at me then slowly nodded.

I heaved a relaxed sigh when she shrugged.

"I won't ask you since I know you're a grown up woman." She said and I flashed a quick, awkward smile.

"Y-You're right, Nana. I'm a grown up na. Matured na nga ang thinking ko, eh."

"That..." She chuckled then touched my cheek. "More mature pa sana, anak."
