Around 9 hours later, the plane landed in a very sunny and very warm New York, one of the major cities of America. Jasmine felt the warmth as soon as she set foot outside, and rolled up the sleeves of her blouse.

"I knew I had a reason to worry about my clothes." Jasmine commented as they were lead through the airport to get their pick-up to the hotel.

"We'll have plenty of time to look for better suited clothes, Jas." Susan told her, linking her arm with hers.

"Good." She answered before they went outside and to their transport.

As they drove through the streets of New York, it was very clear to Jasmine just how different New York was to London. London was big but it didn't give you the impression it was bragging about it, unlike New York. She couldn't lie and say she wasn't intrigued by the city and wasn't interested in finding out more about it. Good thing she had plenty of time to do that.

Soon, they arrived at the hotel they would be staying in for a week, before moving onto the next stop on Mr Pevensie's university tour. The parents got them checked in and were given rooms keys for them. Jasmine, Peter and Susan followed their parents into the lift to go to the floor they all would be on.

"Looks like Susan drew the long straw by having a room all to herself." Mr Pevensie commented, handing Susan her room key as the lift door opened. The group filed out and followed the signs to their room number.

"Nice." Susan said, heading off to her room. Mr Pevensie then handed Peter his room key.

"Now, I convinced your mum to let you two room together. Thank me, later." He told them, then walked ahead to the room he and his wife were staying in.

"But just a warning, we are next door you two." Mrs Pevensie pointed between Peter and Jasmine. "So at least be quiet." She told them and followed her husband.

"How old does she think we are?" Jasmine asked Peter as the parents entered the room next to them.

"Obviously younger than we are." He replied, setting his luggage down so he could open the door with the key. When it was unlocked, he pushed it open and motioned for Jasmine to go first. She did as so, and was surprised by how better than average the room was. It was nowhere near the fanciness of Narnia though, but she expected that.

"I could stay here for a week." She commented as Peter passed her with their luggage.

"Good thing you are." He said as he passed.

"Are you sure don't want help with that?"

"Nope." He replied, dropping the bags on the floor and letting out a sigh. "I'm sorry about my mum being, well, being her, I guess."

"It's okay. If she knew everything, I don't think she would say what she did." She replied, crawling onto the bed and laying across it. "I think she'd actually faint if she knew what we got up to."

"Jas."

"If you remember, we were around this age when we started it."

"I remember." He muttered, trying his best to control himself.

"And we are alone for the first time in a while."

"Jas, my parents are in the next room."

"And that's put you off? Really?" She teased, going on her knees and wrapping her arms around his neck. "I remember a time when your siblings were in the next room and you just couldn't help yourself."
