Hades didn't turn into Hector, which was what I'd expected would happen. He lay still. Just completely still. His breathing even, though weak, somehow.

The second he was gone, I'd put a timer on my phone.

Thirty three minutes had passed by now.

I was anxious to get him back, though I knew why he had to look into the matters of his home.

I bit my lip and lay down next to him. I was lying on the pillow and traced his biceps with my fingertips. Yes, he wore a shirt, didn't make it impossible.

With a jolt he woke.

"Jesus," I muttered, shocked.

Hades looked at me, he didn't try to move or do anything.

I turned off the alarm and put my phone on his bedside table.

"Is everything okay?" I asked.

He nodded and beckoned me to move closer.

I snuggled into him, my head on his chest. "Persephone is solved, now it's only dad."

Hades almost laughed. "I don't think it's something you can solve now."

"No," I admitted. "Do you think it'll help to call him?"

Hades shrugged.

"Do you want to sleep?" I asked and peeked up at him.

"Yeah," he said and looked at me.

I smiled. "Let me draw the blinds, then we can take a nap."

"You're tired?" he asked.

I nodded. "You woke me a bit early after our active night last night."

He winked at me before letting me go so I could draw the blinds.
