To say Alex was nervous would be an understatement. They were in a car driving to Las Vegas as early as the next morning and she almost regretted telling them.
"You ok amore mio " Aro pulled her onto his lap as a way to comfort his mate. He received worried glances from his other two mates also
"Fine just nervous " she mumbled tensing up at the came to a stop in front of a hotel. She got out quickly and scanned the area for any familiar faces, finding none she grabbed the closets mayes hand who just so happen to be Caius.
He lead her inside followed by the elite guards and her other mates. Marcus checked them into a room and they were off to the top floor.
"My queen are you sure your ok"Janes voice cut through the silent air as the rode the elevator. This brought everyone's attention back on her and she tried her hardest not to snap at them.
"Yeah. For those who vacation and live good here this place is wonderful. For thos like me who are homeless its hell. Constant fight and struggle for survival. Many time I almost died from a fight or starvation" she explained looking down. "Yet it wont all bad. I made some friends, even helped the younger kids find food and shelter on the worse days. I'm known here so there are those who will recognize me wheather it be good or bad"
"No one will touch you Piccolo " Marcus voice was comforting and she couldnt help but smile his way
"Thanks but I can protect myself" She winked at him before getting out of the elevator. She tensed up when a familiar couple stood before her. She could recognize the dirty blonde her anywhere. Her parents
They stared back at her equally as surprised to see her."Alex" He mother whispered before tearing up. She came in for a hug much to her dismay
"Dont touch me" she snapped glaring at her.
"That's is no way to talk to your moth-"
She turned her glare on her father
"She is not my mother and your not my father. You abandoned me on the streets. I was barely seven when you left me." Alex hated her past with a passion. She was only going to show her mates how she lived and avoid all else.That quickly went down the drain as she was face to face with the people that birthed her
She knew everyone was tensed behind her. She knew they were mad,maybe even furious.
"I dont remember to u being the disrespectful. Your sister and brothers were never this way" He mother snapped crossing her arms
"And where are they now" Alex asked curiosly. She didnt have sibling last she check
"Oh we left them on the streets. There triplets and so adorable but really costly much like you"
Glaring at her mother she held a hand out to her. "I know you have a picture of them so give" she snapped
"What do we get in return if we dont" her father asked eyes her mates. She could basically see dollars signs in his eyes.
"Jane" Alex mumbled and just like that he was on the ground screaming in pain. "Mother be a sweetheart and give it" she turned her attention to her mother ignoring his screams of pain. In an instant he had a picture of three kids smiling back at her.
"Caius, Marcus and Aro I have to find them" she mumbled tearing up. In a second all three kings were by her side each touching somewhere on her body while staring at her."I'll take Demitri and Felix,I know you guys want to deal with my parents" she glanced up at her mates that nodded.
"Stay safe " she heard Caius mumble before motioning twords her parents. Alec and jane both grabbed one before disappearing along with her mates.
Glancing at Felix and Demitri she handed them the picture. "Yhey look like you" Felic commented walking into the elevator with Demitri. She followed close behind.
"Yeah they do. Where we are going dont interfere with any of my fight unless I say so. Just trust me on this" she says pressing the lobby button.
"My queen we cant just watch you fight" Demitri growled out
"You can and will, I'll be fine" she says walking into the lobby. Demitri and Felix followed behind looking like big scary bodyguards. She couldnt help but smirk at the thought
She sighed as she walked out of the bust streets and into the more run down areas of Las Vegas. She put on her regular glare and walked with a purpose. "Look what the cat dragged in" a girl around Salina age walked in front of them. Her long blonde hair and bright blue eyes stared matched her glare
"I dont have time for your bullshit Lisa" reaching into her pocket she touched her dagger ready for a fight.
"Come on,you missed me didnt you" Lisa started walking twords her eyeing the males behind her."I see you got bodyguards now. What gives"
Alex gare hardened "I'm looking for Ace. I need info" Salina watched lisa. She was an unpredictable girl most of all a spoiled brat that she hated with a passion.
"His just around the corner. Why you need him."
"None of your business now move" Salina all but snapped at her feeling satisfied when she flinched back. Lisa attention then changed to something behind her. Turning around she saw her mates along with Jane and Alec walking twords them.
"My parents" she questions curiosly
"Alive begging for death tho" Aro smiled and glee thinking or the humans terrified looks
Alex turned back to Lisa who looked fearful before moving out of the way. Alex nodded at her before walking pass. She knew what awaited her around the corner. Red and his lackeys most likely beating someone to a pulp.
Turning the corner she was met with his lacky jumping a man and red leaning against the wall boredly.
"Still dont do your own work I see" she mused watching as his eyes snapped to meet her.
"Salina what a surprise and you bring friends. You here to trade" he asked
"Yeah info on some triplets that was dropped off here"
"And I'm guessing your fight for this info?" She nodded pulling out a dagger
"Alex" it was a warning growl from Cauis and Aro. Even Marcus was giving her a look.
"Trust me. You wanted to know about me here goes. " she says watching Red talk with Kilo. A big guy with all muscle and no brain.
Kilo instantly looked at her and charged. Last second Alex flipped over him and threw her dagger into his shoulder hearing him scream he charged again.
Alex wanted to end this fast and so when he dodged him she jumped up and wrapped around his neck she brought him to the ground with little effort. She took her dagger out his shoulder and put it to his neck. "Give up" she snapped putting pressure on his neck to the pout the he bleed
"I give" he choked out going limp
Alex got up and helped the man up before facing Red Expectantly "wonderful like always. The triplets hange stay in your old home. The abandoned clock tower"
Alex rolled her eyes and walked twords her mayes and guards. "See, I told you I'll be fine" she smiled up at her mates who in returned glared or rolled there eyes. "Welp let's go" she says grabbing Jane hand when the guys looked at her with lust. She knew she could take care of herself but she would rather not have to deal with dead bodies that came with messing with a vampire
