The Girl In The War (Under Editing)

Part One

It had been a long while on the plane, night had fallen and clouds surrounded the planes, rose lit up a cigarette and helped the person next to her light up his cigarette. The loud noise of the engine was the only thing that anyone could hear but when rose looked over she saw Bill Evans staring off into the distance, she could tell something was wrong but she couldn't figure out whether he was scared or nervous. Meehan made his way over and talked to him and rose joined him, she patted his shoulder and nodded at him before handing his a cigarette and lighting it. "it'll help" she shouted into his ears and she then moved back to her seat. Meehan moved towards rose and shouted for to get ready as the red light turned on Suddenly, loud explosions and bursts of light could be heard, rose thought about the other members of easy company and how she couldn't wait to meet up with them to calm her thoughts. The plane began to shake and rose saw other planes begin to fall from the sky. Meehan stood behind rose and they both looked back as the plane burst into flames, rose felt a push on her back and she fell through the air, her shoot blocked her view of the plane but she knew that no one else would have made it out as it fell next to her in flames with cries of pain reaching her ears. Rose screamed in pain as she felt a rush of heat on her arm and she locked down to see that she had been burnt, she looked up and saw her shoot on fire so she pulled her reserve shoot and began to descend through the sky. Rose looked down and saw she was heading into a bunch of trees which would be good for cover.

Rose landed and fell to the ground as she felt a rush of pain rush through her leg, she looked down and saw that it was bleeding slightly and a branch were sticking out of it. Rose looked into her bag and grabbed a bandage, she gently pulled the branch out and quickly wrapped the wound with the bandage, she then stood and looked around. She moved behind a tree and began to look at the burn on her arm, she ripped a bit of her pant leg and wrapped her arm with it. rose let out a breath and looked around, where the hell was she?

Rose took a lucky guess and decided to walk in a direction that led where she thought was west, or east. Rose listened intently to the sounds around her as she hoped that she didn't run into any enemies and she wished that she would find easy company soon. Soon the loud sound a machine gun fire filled the air which caused Rose to duck behind a tree, she had no idea where the sound was coming from but she knew that she couldn't hide forever. So rose made the decision to carry on moving, she walked at the sun came up and she only paused for a moment to watch the sun rise as she thought about her parents back in America. But after that thought she began to walk again with the hope she would meet up with someone she knew.
