After being seen by a surgeon Rose and Roe made their way back to the front line, they walked in silence as Rose tried to get comfortable with her arm in a sling. When they finally got to their destination Rose ignored Dike and Peacock who seemed to be arguing and Rose went to find a foxhole to rest in. Rose saw Winters in a foxhole on his own she stopped and smiled, Winters moved over slightly and opened the blanket, Rose quickly jumped in and snuggled into the older man "thanks" she said as she began to shiver from the cold.
"he's gonna be alright" Rose said as she could feel the worry radiating off the Captain and Winters looked down at the medic before whispering "i know, how are you?" he motioned towards the sling and Rose smiled "just another wound sir" Winters laughed slightly and pulled the medic closer in a hope that she would be able to keep warm.
