I wake up realizing i never made it to bed and i was still on the couch. Well, What am i doing today. I grab my phone and check what time it is 8:21am. I sit up, I feel groggy. I grab some milk and pour myself some cereal. I bring it to my bathroom and wipe off all the makeup from yesterday, I put on my Virginity Rocks t shirt and some leggings. I put my bowl in the sink
and heard a knock at the door. "What do you want its so-" It was Jay holding doughnuts "Wait how old are you again?" i really need to age check the guy "I am 15." Sweet, Wait he would of had his permit not license? Probably from his dad or something. "Great! Come in." i open the door for him and he walks in and sits on the couch. "Sorry it is small." He laughs "No its fine." I grab a doughnut "These better not be those gluten free, Sugar free ones." He shakes his head no. "So where is you mom?" he asks looking around. My mom shes at her apartm- Shit i have a mom. "Oh working shifts." Where does she work....Olive garden! "Oh she must be a busy worker." I nod yes. "Want a tour?" I showing him the kitchen the bathroom and the bedroom. "Only one bed?" I nod. "Ya i sleep on the couch." He nods "So want to go somewhere?" I say breaking the silence. "You guys have a Waffle House?" we just ate but i am still hungry. "We just ate!?" he says laughing. I shrug. We get into his car and drive to waffle house "Ya know. Waffle House. Is.The.BEST" He looks at me confused "What can i not state facts." We get there and i order and chocolate chip waffle. I eat it quickly and look up to see Jay barely had one bite of his food "Are you going to eat Prince?" I say while making a crown with my hands. "Nope just going to admire my food." He says sarcastically, I laugh "Okay how much you wanna bet i can eat this whole waffle before you can eat your eggs." i slap a dollar on the table. "okay bet." he says slapping down a ten dollar bill. "3,2,1." i slowly eat the waffle. While he is rushing to eat his eggs, After his third bite he looks up "Why arent you eating faster?" he says with a mouth full of eggs. I just keep eating, He stops and just tries to figure out what i am doing. He tries to get my attention but i just continue to eat. I take my last bite "And that my friend is how you win $11." i say picking up the money. He sits there i awe "But-" he stutters out "Ever read the tortoise and the Hare." I say dusting off my shoulders "Well i am the tortoise and you the Hare. Rushed." he laughs.

It was the second day in Texas, We are most likely leaving tomorrow. My phone buzzes and it is a call from a unknown number. "Whos this?" i say answering the phone "Um is this Griffin Jhonson?" i hear a voice say "Yes?" I respond confused "This is Sean. I am Sarahs friend I was wondering if you know where she is?" Wait is this the kid she wanted to date "Um she is in Idaho with her mom, She will be back in about a 4 days or so." I hear him sigh "Okay, Thank you." I hung up. Huh this kid must really like her. I should call Sarah. I mean she can talk to me for one minute. Wait no thats dumb she would waste that time with me instead of having fun with her mom. She will come back and see me, May not see her mom again don't rob that opportunity from her. Its whatever, I go hang out with the boys. Make a couple tik toks and jump off the roof doing dumb things.

I get a call from a contact labeled "Sean :)" Omg i forgot about him. "Hey!" I say walking to the bathroom. "Hey, How are you and your mom?" How did he know about my mom? "Good, Good." there is a slight pause "Want to hangout when you get back?" Umm i don't know what to say. "Ya sure! I got to go i will call you later." We say bye and i hang up. I walk back to the booth "You still haven't eaten all those eggs." I say surprised "Want them?" he says. "So who was that?" He asks curiously. i grab the palate and eat the eggs "Just a friend from LA" He nods and sits up "Ready?" He reaches for the check "Oh dont be dumb I won the bet I pay." He shakes his head no. I snatch the check before he could grab it "I got this. Trust me." he says pulling it put of my hand. I give in "Okay but next time I get to pay." I say this knowing my money is limited right now. we walk out "What time is it?" I ask him. It has felt like 30 seconds. He checks his watch "Umm 9:30am" Well what can we do now. "Can you skateboard?" i ask him. he shakes his head no "Well i can teach you!" We get into the car and go back to my house. i grab my skateboard. "Okay its all about the balance." I set it on the ground and push is out to the road "It is quite easy just push with one leg and don't fall." Honestly, I have no clue how to teach him how to skate but he will learn. It is all about trial and error. Coming from the girl who broke her wrist trying to skate.I watch him skate down the road and he trips. I help him up and hold his hand while he balances on the skateboard. "Aye I think you got it!" I let go and he skates down the road. Dang he catches on quick. "Come on your a natural!" I yell as he skates by. He shrugs "Ya you have done this before. None is that good." I yell. He skates over "Okay okay. I do know how to skate. But this was fun."
