I laugh. "Here how about i serve you some dinner." I say bowing at him like he is a prince "Aw why thank you Madem." He says shaking my hand. We walk into the house and I look for some food. "So we have pizza. Pizza and more pizza. What do you want?" He sits on the counter "I don't know? Maybe....Pizza!" I nod "What a good choice." i say in a British accent. I put the pizza in the oven and set the timer for 15 minutes. "Would you rather Be eating by sharks or killed by a jellyfish." He says reading questions off his phone. "Shark. They would get it over with faster. With a jellyfish i would me in pain while i died." He agrees. We eat the pizza. "Now this is good pizza." He says wiping his mouth with the napkin "I am a pretty good cook if I don't say so myself." I say. He laughs "So what is your dad like?" He asks grabbing another slice "He's. Well he is nice, He tries way to hard, Won't get it. But he is there." I say eating the crust "My dad, Well he is Rich, Loves money, Works 24/7 and married a bitch." I am guessing he is talking about his step mom. "Ya, What about your mom?" I ask. He sighs and sits down "Smart, Nice. But couldn't win custody." I understand what he is going through. It maybe different but we both where missing a mother. "Will your mom be here?" He asks. Why is this man always wanting to know about my mom? "Nope. The house is all ours." i say smiling. "But i want to meet your mom." he says frowning "Ya i know she is just really-" he cuts in "Busy... Ya i know." I frown "Hey its okay. One day you might meet her." Sometimes i feel like he acts like we are married. Maybe i should just tell him? He won't get mad he will understand after all Im too young for this Its not like we are getting married. I am 14 practically 15 and i am all alone in a Air B&B lying to a kid i barely know acting like i am a adult. This is dumb. I am not going to lie, I can't do it anymore. I like Jay, I need to tell him the truth. "Look, My mom... You won't ever meet her." He looks confused "Why not?" he asks"Truth is. My dad well. Adoptive dad is in LA. He is a tik toker. I know stupid right? My mom is honestly probably a drug addict. I came here to see her but some guy came and she kicked me out." He looked even more confused "Your joking right?" i look down "I know you are mad and think that i am too young to be living alone. But look i am not telling him. He will flip out come get me be stressed. And its his weekend in Texas." He shook his head "So who's house is this?" i sit on the counter "I don't know some lady. Its an Air B&B." He laughs "So you. A 14 year old have been living ALONE. Taking care of yourself?!" I shake my head yes "You just won't get it." I say. He walks to the living room "Why are you so mad. We are only teenagers. Its not like we are 17 or 18! This isn't a movie!" I yell. "YOU LIED TO ME, I JUST WANTED TO MEET YOUR MOM!" He yells back, He is overreacting. "DONT START! WHAT DID YOU WANT ME TO TELL A STRANGER?! HEY I AM LIVING ALONE FOR A WEEK BECAUSE MY MOM LEFT ME, WANT TO BE FRIENDS?!" He walks out and slams the door. This man is bipolar i swear. I see him drive off. Why is he so mad? Why can't he understand? Oh right Mr. Rich boy. Won't understand shit. I punch a pillow, WE .AREN'T. MARRIED. YOU.DONT .HAVE .TO .MEET .MY .MOM. Ugh , I walk to the bedroom and plop onto the bed. Why. Why Sarah, This all goes fine but then BOOM its all gone. I dont care about this. Hes so nice and I get it. He wants to be a gentleman. I sit up go around the bed and go under the covers. Why is he so mad? I am going home. I will make some excuse up. I will just call Kio tell him she has to work. And i am coming back for christmas or something. Whats the chances of meeting someone so. Nice so Cute so Caring but I am just way to young and i have so much on my plate. Maybe when Griffin wouldn't let me date Sean he was right. Wait no. Sean took things slower. Sean didn't have a car and didn't want to meet my mom. I call kio. "Im flying back tomorrow. My mom has to work and doesn't want me too do nothing all day. We had an awesome time though!" I hear him confused but happy I had a good time "Okay, I will tell Griffin." I say okay and hang up. That went well. Ish. I get a call from Griffin "So what did you guys do? Does she want to see you more or?" I could tell he was eager to know if she was going to adopt me. "Um, I am coming back on Christmas." I could hear him feel defeated. Why is he upset. Its just Christmas? "Okay, Me and the boys are driving back to LA tomorrow. See you then, Love you bye." I said bye and hung up. Well that was fun. Love drama. A 10/10 experience. I need to get away when i am older. I need to just. Leave. On my own by myself just me none else.
