Ch.31

~Alyysa's POV~ 

I sigh and wipe away my tears. I can't belive I killed my best friend, well atleast from the hunger games. I look at Cato and Peeta. They smile at me sadly. Cato crawls over to me. He wraps his around my small waist and kisses my cheek. I sigh and look up at him. I look out of the cave and see light. I crawl out of the cave, wih th boys following me. I suddenly hear a noise and pull an arrow ready to shot at the next thing that moves.

"Attention tributes, attention. There has been a slight, rule change. Two tributes may be crowned victors if they are of oppisite sex. Good luck, and remember, May The Odds Be Ever In You Favor." A robotic voice says.

I look at Peeta and Cato. I sigh and look down. Cato grabs my hand and Peeta grabs my other. I can feel Cato tense up and I giggle. He looks at me and smiles. We start to walk around. I see a wiers looking bird. I let go of there hands and pull back an arrow. I shoot at the bird and sure enugh it goes down. I smile and walk over to the dead bird on the forest floor. I bend down to grab it, but I get pushed away from it and onto the ground. I growl and he smirks. He punches me in the face. I feel something hot run down the side of my face, Blood. I hear Peeta and Cato running over to me. Thresh looks up and sees them getting closer. He grabs a knife from my belt and throws it at the boys. I gasp as I hear Peeta Scream. The knife comes back and hits Thresh in the heart and he falls instently and his cannon goes off. I hurry over to Peeta. The knife hit him in his heart... he's going to die,

soon.

Tears run down my face. He looks at me and smiles sadly.

"let me do this one last time." He whispers.

Peeta then puts his hand behind my neck and pulls my head down and kisses me. I kiss back with so much emotion. I can't belive he is about to do. He pulls away after a while.

"I love you Lys." He whispers.

His cannon goes off.

I scream and trow anything I can find. I feel Cato grab my arm and hug me. 

"Shhh, it's going to ok, it's going to be ok." He peck my head and hold me close as I cry.

After a while we stand up and walk to the cornicpia. We hear a noise again.

"Attention, the last rule change has been...revocked. Oly one may win. Good luck and MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR."

i LOOK AT cATO AND LOOKS AT ME.

"Kill me. You need to win." Cato says.

"NO! I can't kill you! I can't lose anyone else! Please Cato kill me." I cry whispering the last part.

"They have to have a victor."

"No they don't." I say throwing my weponds as far away as I can.

I put my hand in my pocket and grab the nightlock. Cato looks at it.

"NO!" He yells coving my hand.

"Please, trust me" I whisper.

He nods and I put some in his hand. He kisses me and I kiss back. After a while I pull away.

" On three. One." I say

"Two"

"Three." ( would it be crul if I stop it hear?     Yes?     Ok I'll keep going)

We say together then put the barries to our mouths when we hear another nosie.

"STOP! STOP! Ladies and gentleman, the winners of thr 74 annual hunger games!"

I smile at cato and we throw berries. I hug Him and the kiss him with the same amount of passion as before.

"I love you." he mummbles against my lips.

"I love you too."
