Dilara's POV (2 months later)

I was walking down the streets of my hometown, Havana. I decided to sit on the bench with the view of the sea since the beach was like 10 feet away from the street I was walking on.

I unlocked my phone and I only got 4 WhatsApp messages. I logged out of all of my social media accounts when I came here 2 months ago and only stayed in constant contact with Erick and my mom.

They're the only ones who know I'm here. I only let the others contact me if it's really necessary.

The WhatsApp messages I got were from Evaluna.

Me and Camilo came back from our honeymoon a month ago and we're back in Miami now

I put my earphones in and played the track. It was Jp's part first and soon I heard Evaluna's voice. This version hits different not gonna lie.

She sang softly then it was the instrumental. "Yo sé que tú sabes que amarnos de lejos no es igual," I sang softly to myself during the instrumental.

I opened my memo on my phone and typed it down. The sun was setting and the sky turned into a beautiful pink and purple colour.

I decided to walk back to the house before it was dark.

Since me and family used to live here before we moved out to Miami, we still have our house here for whenever we come back. I've been living there since I got here.

I took my keys out of my purse and unlocked the door. "You're back! Had a nice walk?" My aunt asked me and I nodded. My aunt and cousin were living here. So at least I've got company.

"I saw the sunset, not completely but it was something," I said as I set my purse down and walked to the dining table.

"I didn't cook today I was wondering if you'd want to come eat out instead?" my aunt asked me. I nodded, "Yeah sure, lemme get ready," I told her.

The whole time I've been back in Havana, no makeup has been a real thing. The reason I decided to come back here for my break was so I can find myself again, and relive all the memories I made here with Erick and the rest of my family.

I got to my room and decided to change out of my leggings and sweatshirt into an oversized buttoned up shirt and jeans.

After changing I put my hair up in a ponytail and put on a very light natural makeup.

I headed downstairs with my purse and phone in hand.

My aunt drove us to the restaurant we used to always go to when we were little.

"I missed this place," I said as I remembered everything that went down here.

"Still as delicious, and can I point out the fact that the family that owns the place is a major fan of you and Erick?" my aunt said.

"They also have a performing area now and whoever that wants to perform can perform anything they want!" my 14 year old cousin told me.

"Wait really?" I asked him and he nodded excitedly. "Maybe you can perform!" he said. I giggled.

"Mateo calm down, hijo," my aunt said laughing at him.

We got out of the car and walked into the restaurant. We sat in one of the booths near the small stage they have.

"Hola! Here you go, I'll be back to take your orders," a nice waitress came over and gave us the menu.

We decided on what to eat and called the waitress over to order what we wanted.

While we were talking and waiting for our food, two teenage girls came over to our table.

"Hi! My name is Sara and this is Gabbie. Can we have a picture with you?" they asked me. I nodded, "Sure!"

I stood up and Mateo helped take the pictures for us. "Is it okay if we post these? I mean you're on your break and all," the girl named Gabbie asked me.

"Of course you can! I don't mind," I said politely. After talking for a bit the girls left back to their family.

Soon, our food arrived and we ate while talking about how the writing process for my album is going right now.

"Hola, I hope you guys are enjoying the food," a man probably in his 40's, who's also the owner of the restaurant, came up to us. "Yeah we are," my aunt responded to him politely.

"Hey uh, is the stage open for performances?" Mateo asked him. I know exactly where this is going.

"It is actually, and its kinda why I'm here. Dilara would you mind maybe performing a song?" he asked me nicely. I giggled and nodded, "Sure, I haven't performed in a while, kinda miss it."

I finished my food and got up to the stage. "Hola," I said into the mic and I heard a chorus of hola's back.

"So, I'm Dilara Colon," I said and I heard a table saying, "We know!" in a joking manner and I laughed.

I took the mic off of the mic stand and sat on the edge of the stage. "What would you guys wanna hear tonight?" I asked them.

I heard a lot of people saying Cuando Te Bese so I had the guitarist play the acoustics to the song. I started singing and literally the whole restaurant sang along.

My voice was slightly raspy and nearly cracked a couple times due to the fact I haven't actually sang or did any of my vocal training for a while.

I moved the mic to the crowd and they sang out, "Cuando te besé, yeh-eh, sentí que toqué el cielo, oh-oh-oh, y no me equivoqué, no-no-no, no-no-no, porque lo haría de nuevo, de nuevo, y de nuevo"

I smiled and continued the song. I kinda missed this and this makes me wanna go back to Miami.

i miss my friends, my two cousins just had 2 new babies and i can't meet them yet coz of this stupid lockdown crap.

i wanna go out i need the damn sun.
