Dilara's POV

We were gonna spend two days at my mom's house in Tampa. The moment we arrived, I raced out of the car and to the door. My mom was already standing outside waiting for us.

"Mama!" I screamed and ran into her arms. "Ay mija, I've missed you too," my mom said laughing.

"Hey! She's my mother too you know," Erick said from behind me and I laughed. I pulled away from my mother and let Erick hug her.

After everyone greeted my mom, my father finally stepped out of the car and walked over. I took in a breath and smiled as I walked over to him and linked our arms together and walked towards my mom.

"Mama," I said slowly. She was quite surprised to see my father. "Alejandro," my mother said softly. "Hola, Daysi," my father said to her with a soft smile.

"Well, uh come in," my mother said smiling and invited all of us in. As everyone went inside I stayed back with Erick to talk to our mom.

"Mama," I started. "Are you okay with it? With him being here?" Erick asked her. "How has he been with you guys? Has he been making up for lost time?" she asked us.

We looked down and then back up, smiling softly while nodding. "Then I'm happy he's here. You deserve to be with a father after all these years. I'll be alright," my mother said smiling and we returned the favor.

We walked inside together and saw the boys and our father sitting on the couch watching television. The boys sent our stuff to the extra rooms as me and my mom went to the kitchen.

I was gonna be in my old room as Joel and Christopher will be bunking in the room next to mine while Richard and Zabdiel bunked with Erick in his old room. Papa got the extra room all to himself.

I asked my parents if me and Joel could be in the same room and they instantly declined. "You can bunk together in your own houses but not here," my mom strictly said. "I'm not letting anything happen while me and your mama are here," my dad added.

"Haiyaiyai," I sighed and got back to cutting the vegetables as my mom made some soup.

After dinner we all sat in the backyard, enjoying each other's company. I was sat in between Joel's legs, my back leaned into his chest as he wrapped his arms around me.

"Once de la noche, todavía no contesta, una 'e la mañana todavía y no hay respuesta" Zabdiel randomly sang.

"Dos de la mañana me dice que está dispuesta" Richard continued.

"Tres de la mañana y yo te tengo una propuesta" Erick jumped in right after, strumming his guitar.

"Cómo hacerte entender
Que conmigo tú te ves mejor
Que en mi carro tú te ves mejor" I sang the lyrics right before Joel sang some other lines and soon we were all jamming.

Our mini jam session in my mom's backyard was fun and light hearted, with the moonlight and stars being the only thing that brighten up our surroundings. The song ended and we all cheered for each other while laughing.

"It's getting late, we should go to bed," my mom said and we checked the time and it was 11 pm. "It's 11 and we just sang a song called 11 PM," Christopher said and we laughed.

"Let's go, I'm tired and I don't want no monsters out here," I said getting up. "What monsters?" Joel asked. I shrugged, "El cucuy?" I said.

The boys instantly shot up and ran inside, leaving only me and parents, laughing at their behaviour. "The fact a boogeyman still scares them and they're grown men," my father said still laughing.

"Their children at heart, sometimes they go worse than that, trust me," I said as we walked inside and I headed to my room to sleep.

Morning came by and it was time to head back to Miami, and that means its time to head back to work. I headed downstairs after showering and getting dressed.

"Buen día!" I greeted everyone that was already downstairs and they greeted me back. I walked over to my mother and wrapped my arms around her from the side as I rest my chin on her shoulder.

"What's this about?" my mom asked chuckling. "I'm gonna miss you," I said with a baby although my voice was slightly muffled. "Now you sound like you're not used to it," she said to me.

"Maybe I am but I just don't like being used to it," I said still being clingy to her. "You'll see me again soon, don't worry. It's not like you're going to another end of the world, I can literally drive to Miami," my mom said patting my arms.

I let go of her pouting, but smiled when she kissed my forehead. "You're a baby," Erick said. I stucked my tongue out at him and he did the same.

After we ate breakfast, we drove back to Miami. We got back to work right after and honestly things were going perfect and I wouldn't want to have it any other way.
