"You leave on Saturday, so you've got three days to pack up and get ready", I stood "ok then, but what do I tell my friends in school about my sudden leaving?", Vito shrugged his broad shoulders "you can say that you're going to live with an extended family for a while", I nodded "that's actually sounds good", "told you am smart" he replied with a wink and Tyler knocked his head, Celine and I laughed as they began their usual bickering but the sound of the house alarm made us froze. In all the while I've been here it had never rung so I knew something was wrong, "stay here and don't leave this room" Tyler ordered as he sped of with Vito. Celine and I were trying to go through the cameras but we kept coming blank, "something is wrong I can't link with Vito or Tyler", I tried to link with Vito but no avail, "maybe we should..." but I was cut off by a loud growl, and a pained cry from Celine, I looked up at her to see her bleeding from her nose, "mum, what's wrong, you are bleeding?", but she didn't answer, only pulled my hand and dragged me towards the other end of the office, "mum, what are you doing", "there's a room here, stay here and do not come out,on no account should you open this door when I close it", she mumbled as she pushed me into the secret room, I held onto her hands, "please tell me what's going on", I pleaded, she closed her eyes briefly and I saw her wince in pain, "it's the assassins, they're here, I don't know how they traced us but they're here, Tyler is hurt that's why am bleeding, please Aurora stay here", "but I can help you guys, we can fight together, this is what you've been training me for" I argued, Celine cupped my face, "please baby, just stay put and let us handle them, something's not right and I don't want you hurt" with that she wretched her hand and locked the door leaving me in the secret room.

I sat down for a while but I couldn't concentrate, the sounds of growls, grunts and screams seemed to fill the air it was nearly deafening, or maybe it was my super hearing, I tried tuning to my parents heartbeat and let out a huge breath when I could hear it clear and steady. I stood and paced the room, I was confused and didn't understand why they wouldn't let me fight with them, am strong enough to help them, I only hope they win this fight, I didn't know what to do or how to leave the room. Just then I heard, Vito's growl but it was filled with pain, I tried listening to his heart but it was faint, I could hear, Celine's screams, I couldn't hear Tyler's heart because he's a vampire but I knew that Vito was dying from the slow pounding of his heart, I banged, pushed,pulled and tried all I could to break the door but it was to no avail, hitting the door, felt like hitting a fluffy pillow, then I heard Celine's voice in my head,

Aurora, stay still they're coming up, don't...

But it was cut off, I placed my head, to the door, and heard the unmistakable sound of footsteps enter the office, they sounded so heavy and very loud, like that of a giant, I tried counting the heartbeats, and came up with ten,  I hope my parents are alive I don't know if I can fight them off, when they get me, then I heard, Tyler's hissing,

Ooh thank the moon goddess, dad Tyler is ok

But my relief was cut short immediately, "now where's the girl" I heard a voice ask, "I don't know who you're talking about" Celine answered, her voice sounded strain, soon her screams were heard and I heard Vito and Tyler growling in pain, that's when it dawned on me,they were looking for me, but by hurting Celine they would also be hurting Vito and Tyler because of the mate bond, "keep your fucking hands off my mates" this came from Tyler but he's voice wasn't strong anymore, So I tried linking with Vito

Dad Vito, please tell them where I am or they'll keep, hurting you mum and Tyler,

Don't worry baby, they won't find you,the bunker is sound proof, please just stay still, we'll hold them off

"I said where's the girl, I can feel her power so I know the kid's in this house so speak or one of you dies now", the voice spoke again so I assumed he is  leader, I banged on the door loudly hoping the muffled sound would alert them to my location, "there's no one here, just leave" Celine countered, the leader chuckled darkly, "we found out that one of us was acting strange after he was sent here to investigate the source and owner of the powers, after a period of observation and some tests we realized that he's been controlled, so now tell me why I should believe you when I've see all the family pictures, especially when I can feel her power so close, well since you won't speak kill the wolf first"

But I heard dad Vito's heart slow down till it beat no more, I could feel my mum's pain

"Look what I found, a nice family portrait, seems I was right, it's a girl after all and a pretty one at that, come out now beauty, you don't want your remaining parents dead do you?" he sing-songed, when he heard no response, he growled loudly "fine let's do this the hard way" I heard Celine's voice, "Tyler", so I banged harder on the door, I kept screaming hoping they'll hear,

No, Dad please don't go, please just tell them...

But the connection was cut off, I sat on the floor with tears streaming my face, this can't be happening it has got to be a bad dream but when I heard the painfully slow beat of Celine's heart I knew it was only a matter of time before she died from the pain of losing her mates and I would be alone, I would lose the only people who ever cared for me, I can't let that happen, there's no way I would let that happen.

Closing my eyes I focused on my power like Celine had taught me till I felt the rage build up and my vision clouded with red, everything around me looked like it was on fire, Cora growled loudly and with my renewed strength I pulled the door hard and it gave way but the sight that greeted me, made my heart break and my wolf lose control so I gave into the blind rage.
