I can't believe how much I ended up loving this story, and how much you guys seemed to enjoy it as well. I'm so glad someone suggested I turn that one shot into a book!

I think one of my favorite things was watching people go from hating Lhong to liking him (at least my representation of him). When I took a playwriting class, we learned that every "good" character should have flaws, and every "bad" character should have redeeming qualities. I'm pretty proud of myself for accomplishing that haha

In the show, Lhong did some really horrible things to Tharn and Tar that I can't justify or forgive. But, I have to say that I did feel sad for him. It was clear he was so deprived of love his entire life that he went crazy with the desperation for someone to love him. I tried to portray that in Lhong here, without making him do any of the terrible things he did in the show. I don't like Lhong as a person, but he's a great character because he's so complex. Anyway, that's all for my ramblings lol
